i had to remove the clip for the brake line on the bottom tree and run it straight down. and clutch cable i ran through the bars instead of the normal clip it’s in stock

nope these are stock but they are maxed out. if your bars are any wider than these you’ll need extensions

no i didnt have that issue with these bars. throttle tube slid right on.

Hey sorry for the delay, we removed both fenders but the installer wanted to leave the tank and fairing on for easier install

Yeah the only reason i got away with stock cables is because these bars are so narrow, literally any other set i wouldve had to change everything.

Same thing happened to me when I bought the security bolt, i just ended up cutting the bolt shorter

@@TWO-TIRED I confirmed with their staff that they will fit, as you've just mentioned. You also mention in this upload that you didn't need new cables, so hopefully my stock ones work as well with the 14".

Hey Thanks for watching! The bars were never in the way of the tank, thats how they came from the dealer, I never moved them. Same amount of gas but i could be wrong but it seems like my gas gauge reads just a tiny bit lower than normal. Sometimes it will say im out of gas but then when i fill up it only takes 2.5 gallons. But the mileage range is always accurate. Hope this helps

My bars didn’t come with anything, I’m using the stock wires and cables. because these bars are so narrow (26”) I was able to have enough slack to use all the stock stuff

Aw man thats unfortunate, I wonder what would happen if you ran the front ones on the rear instead. maybe reach out to moons, maybe they can help. Also I saw a comment about my wrap thats no longer on the video for some reason, but a year later the vinyl is still holding up fine, a few small scratches here and there and the vinyl has a small tear under the saddlemen seat from the rivets rubbing on the back fender. other than that its perfect, although, I take very good care of it, so results may vary haha

@@TWO-TIRED yeah I commented about doing a follow up on that video and then seen that you had a video from almost a year later and the vinyl still looks like its holding strong :) nice work, ill worry about the indicator situation when I finally get a new softtail i'm contemplating throwing down a deposit in the hopes of a 120th anniversary model when they drop next year.

Yeah going through that issue now after two years, hard as to open have to try like 4-5 times and now noticing the ring adhesive isn’t sticking down anymore can’t just buy a replacement have to buy the whole unit, what’s a good alternative?

Thanks dude! we took both of the fenders off actually, I just didn't film it. We did leave the tank and the fairing on the bike though.

not personally, theres a guy in the comments who claims to have crashed with them though.

The rear doesn't have the sequential pattern, these are running lights, brake lights and turn signals. So yes the running light is always on. Thanks for watching!

yes, after having the seat on long term, you will see scratches on the rear fender from the rivets rubbing.

@@TWO-TIRED My last accident put me out for a while and the crash bar was just scratched a little but from now on this is a must have on all my bikes. This product has paid for itself multiple times with me

What about primary cover? Is it not to narrow at the bottom to prevent the scratches?

I disagree, these combined with the handlebars will protect the gas tank and the primary, who cares about pegs, pegs will always hit the ground first. as far as exhaust, I plan on getting the bung king rear sliders, so all in all the expensive and important stuff will be protected. I’m willing to lose a little protection for better ground clearance for high speed canyon riding! Anyway thanks for watching! 🤙🏼

I know there’s higher quality stuff out there for sure, and I don’t do wheelies so they have been totally fine for me, that’s why I went with the straight tbars, not the mx so there’s less stress/weak points.

Exactly, its like stock but way more low profile! It looks like they are wide enough to protect the primary and these mixed with the handle bars should protect the tank (at least I hope so) I might end up buying rear sliders to get a little more protection though, we'll see! Yeah I run the Big Sucker with the Vance and Hines FP3 tuner. Its fairly inexpensive and was super easy to install. The FP3 didn't have my Cobra pipe on the list of tunes, so I just did the map called "Generic 2 into 1 with High Flow Air Filter" and I've had zero issues, bike is waay more responsive and it removes the governor so it can do 120mph with no issues now. You'll notice an instant power difference. It woke my bike right up. I'd like to get a Dyno Jet Power Vision tuner someday to get the most out of a tune, the FP3 is good for basic stuff but not the most versatile. @@STAYHUMBLE302 Oh yeah it will definitely void the warranty, I know once Harley plugs your bike in at the dealership, it will flag and instantly void if the ECU has been changed. Some dealerships are cool and will still do warranty work and wont ever plug it in, and some just aren't cool about it at all. So its definitely a risk. If you don't want to risk it, just have the dealership tune it.

Your bike will be perfectly fine I was in two accidents with this crash bar and all I had to do was re-powder coated it I also have the bunking sliders for the rear.

Actually there is scratching and a tiny hole under the seat, it’s from the rivets on the underside of the seat but i’ve noticed it hasn’t gotten any worse and I’m not going to use any other seat but a saddlemen so it’s not an issue for me. I’m just careful in that area when i wash the bike without the seat on.
