  • Just wanted to give y'all an update on the mustache engine guard, the rubber foot guards have fallen off. Not a big deal since I don't utilize them, but maybe something to look out for if you own a mustache engine guard.
    Easy fix, just zip tie the rubber pads.
    Thanks for watching, ride safe vatos.

    I just got this crash bar. I’m thinking I’m gonna buy some ultra wide parachute cord and wrapping that area with that crisscross styled braid.

    Engine guard saved my leg and bike the other day. Car made a left in front of me I stopped on time not to hit the car but fell to my right. No damage 🙏🏽

      Glad to hear you're alright vato, something minor like that could add to thousands in damages. You saw Nick from Laidlaws, he was just involved in a minor fender bender on his new LRS, cost him over $7k in repairs. He didn't have a crash bar.

    Check out the Lindby bar, I use that one, it's got the same shape but it uses several rubber rings on each side so they stay pretty secure. I used mine from Boston to GA and back and it was great

      Great suggestion, it's got the same great look. It's also bit more expensive than the HD.

    Did you ever have lower back pain with the regular Saddleman? If so... does that SDC seat help with that?

    • @InfamousCreep
      @InfamousCreep  Před 2 lety +1

      I have lower back pain all the time, the back rest relieves that pressure. I've caught myself pushing against it while riding recently.

    I used 35lbs gorilla double sided mounting tape…. Not going anywhere

    • @InfamousCreep
      @InfamousCreep  Před 2 lety +1

      Great tip! I've used double sided tape before, I'll mention that when the topic pops up again. The zip ties could cut in the rubber overtime or break due to the weather conditions. Thanks

      @MastaFlash13 Před 2 lety

      @@InfamousCreep yeah I found they make even stronger tape (60lbs). I cleaned the bar and inside of the grips with alcohol before mounting back up. I don’t rest my feet there kinda of a weird spot but I didn’t want them falling off

  • @cocaine_hookers
    @cocaine_hookers Před rokem +1

    Remove them use skate board grip tape.

    • @InfamousCreep
      @InfamousCreep  Před rokem +1

      That would be a great alternative, more grip and you could customize with colors.

    Maybe take them off and have them rhino lined?

      That’s a good idea, it’ll match up with the struts and the dashboard.
