1UZ is a BEAUTIFUL heart to drop in any
platform with enough real estate under the hood to fit it. Broad torque curves, absolutely f*cking bulletproof, and it makes ALL the right noises. I’m working on a MK2 Supra 1UZ swap right now, and it’s incredible.

Man after watching hundreds of one takes with Matt farah mobbing roads in 600+ horsepower monsters its refreshing seeing how a normal human being deals with scary ass cars on windy roads
I got to drive the 600hp viper srt10 last month. It was startling, but not too bad after a few pulls. So out of alignment the wheel pointed to 10 o' clock though.. it not wanting to go straight was the real scary part.
It was the 2010 model, so not very friendly
Captainwigglemuncher ....that’s just the problem....it’s obvious that he does not have the driving ability of Matt Farah....and there’s nothing wrong with that....just like Matt Farah does have the driving ability of Chris Harris....so my point is, he’s normally very much an “every day normal driver” and lately he’s trying to be Matt Farah or Chris Harris behind the wheel when, he really does not need to, is not what his subscribers expect from him. I’m also worried he’s going to get hurt and/or hurt someone else. I mean, he looked like he was “beyond” his driving ability during most of that drive. People swap 1uz engines in the us all the time. Many are swapped in Toyota pickups or 4runners.

I’m gonna tell you right now my biggest regret was going to private college right out of high school. Financially the best decision to make is spending your first 2 years in community college and the last 2 in a private college. You get a private degree for half the cost. Sure you don’t get the “college experience”. But the college experience is over rated. Spend 2 weeks in Vegas after you graduate and that sums up the college experience.

You have to hug the line on that road. Its tiny, theres no room. Its actually super dangerous and the cliff is literally on the edge of the road in some places.

I had a sc400 with a uz, that thing had 300k miles on it and ran beautifully. Sold it 6 years ago and I still have sellers remorse.

I had AE86 with a 1UZ.. And is pretty fun! But the engine is so heavy that it really push the nose on tight corners you can really feel it or at least I could changing from a 4AGE to a 1UZ the change is drastic..

Is it just me or does this Toyota V8 sound more american than a 5.0 or a Hemi. But nothing will sound more American than the Legendary, Raging, "Learn English or Leave" saying, LS.
Meh once you hear big bbc screaming down the highway or an old 426 hemi idle, an LS starts to sound bad. There not very good sounding compared to the older engines but do make a lot more power.

It has to be you. This Toyota V8 sounds nothing like an "American" V8. No dual-overhead cam engine sounds like a burbling American push-rod V8.

nice bro v8 s sound different, you can get the last 3 mustang v8 s, the old pushrod 302, the 4.6 modular and the 5.0 coyote and they all sound way different. IMO the 4.6 is the best sounding.

NICE!!! 1UZ-FE is a great motor, very smooth, pretty much turned everybody up on their ear back in 1990, as nobody had something that sophisticated, smooth or made that much power.
As for the Miata itself, is it some sort of special edition??? I noticed the "Bride" door panels and seat fabric matched, pretty funky/cool look to it. The Camaro did something similar in the early 80's with the seats/door panels, with the different hues of fabric and CAMARO CAMARO CAMARO CAMARO CAMARO
Definitely custom, no Miata came stock with any Bride pieces. Everything was factory OEM Mazda.
