    Okay so i did this a lil differently
    I mixed in paste and the soap with water, i didnt add baking soda cause i didnt have any. I wet my shoes and used the toothbrush from my ROOMATE (love you maria) and i scrubbed my converse with the paste and soap, after i finished i rinsed off my shoe with water again. As i finished i let them sit at my window for a day, but i got very impatient because they weren't drying quick enough, and they were looking blue ish so i panicked and put them in my washing machine with two random towels (the color does not matter) i ONLY added detergent thats the only thing i added and i let it wash. After they finished washing i put my converse in the drying machine and when they dried off- GIRL THEY WERE SO CLEAN, ATLEAST CLEANER THAN HOW THEY WERE BEFORE
    Let me tell you i have had these converse for like.. A WHILE (for like 3/4 years now) and they were cleaner than before like omggg, BUT LET ME SAY THIS BEFORE SOMEONE SAYS SOMETHING
    The lil flap of the shoe, luke the tongue for me still had like black spots, but see i dont mind much so yeahhh- but still my shoes still came out better than before just saying

    Use a water repellent protection spray right from purchasing any canvas footwear to prevent stains getting ingrained and easier to clean. The spray also removes any scuffs on the rubber parts,I would not tend to use acetone often as it can easily break down & dissolve rubber,plastic & colour(hence it being used for nail gels and polishes 🤷🏻‍♀️) I have ruined many things using acetone,thinking it would help,but not so 🙁😭

    • @danagorr
      @danagorr Před 7 měsíci

      Absolutely right about the acetone's corrosive properties, plus it is also a toxic, flammable substance so ensure it's rinsed off thoroughly before using any cleaned product.

    I don’t have any baking soda but I have baking soda toothpaste , is that alright too?

      Yes that’s perfect! I’m sure it would totally work as a substitute for the powder baking soda!

    Does this still work if your shoes are extremely dirty? As in like, mud stains in the fabric?

      +Jana Denise in this case, I would suggest you to clean them with the hydrogen peroxide method, in which I made a video about :) the video is called "how to clean white converse fast"

      I tried this method first and then tried that method after letting them sit in the sun for 4 hours. My shoes are so clean now! Thank you so so so much! +1 Subscriber ☺️

      I don’t think it matters as long as you wash off the mixture well 😊
