Brilliant! Having a 2 different shoes to see what method is the best for each, in terms of cleaning. and to know the result for different kinds and type of shoes, great job! I can fully understand what I'm going to use to my leather and fabric shoes.
No, a chemical reaction makes the vinegar cause the baking soda to release carbon dioxide gas. This gas helps clean many things. A good example is washers, sinks, dish washers, sidewalks, etc.
When baking soda is mixed with vinegar, the acid breaks down baking soda, releasing carbon dioxide gas that can help lift dirt from the surfaces being cleaned.
Yes but it’s not alkalinity nor acidity that cleans your shoes. It’s the chemical gases released by the baking soda when it comes in contact with vinegar which cleans the shoes.

I definetely don't get 3-4 hrs of direct sunlight in my place, if I let it dry overnight without direct sun would it be as effective? Thanks for the video, BTW!! Bought a great pair of used Adidas hi-tops but the fabric is stained & I bought them to flip dem!!
What do method do you recommend for shoes that doesn't have any leather part, or should i say, shoes that have fabric. And second question. Should i make sure first that my shoes are dry before i apply the method?
Never dry your white shoes in direct sunlight! Let them air dry in outside in the shade and also never put any type of leather shoes in the Dryer! Leather is a very delicate material after they are air dried put a good quality Leather conditioner cream that is formulated for white leather .
Toothpaste gave me really good results on leather shoes. I don't think it would work well on canvas just because when I used it on fabric (I showed it on the video) it didn't get rid of stains. As Chimith wrote, baking soda will do a better job.
4:47 for the results, You’re welcome
Do you need to know how to do it you're welcome

You can as well add vinegar😁😁😁

Arm & Hammer baking soda toothpaste is excellent having both components in it...
For the laces just tie them together and put them through to wash
The washing machine will just destroy your lace tips tho, may as well just hand wash em

I really didn't know wich one to try😊
I am glad to help!
I would probably mix the toothpaste with the baking soda.
The yellowing was caused by the UV from the son. You should place a sheet of kitchen towel over the shoes, it wil block the UV rays.
Agreed.
Oh really? If it's already yellow, can it turn white again?

If you’ll be cleaning an AirmaxReact270, will these methods affect the other colors of the rubbershoes?
How tf do you clean it, i have same issue these white meshes at this shoe's are not cleanable in any way
Wouldn’t adding vinegar to baking soda cancel each other out and basically turn them into water?
No, a chemical reaction makes the vinegar cause the baking soda to release carbon dioxide gas. This gas helps clean many things. A good example is washers, sinks, dish washers, sidewalks, etc.
Adding vinegar to the bicarbonate of soda neutralizes each other. One's an acid the other a base. It'll work better without the acid (vinegar).
Have you tried it ?

Which method worked better for cleaning the rubber area of the shoes? I can't really tell :/
toothpaste, Michael
Baking soda and vinegar reaction cancels most of the effect, because you are stabilizing the pH

What❓ about harpic

And second question. Should i make sure first that my shoes are dry before i apply the method?
Because my shoes have stains all over it and i dont know what to do.
What happens of you dont dry them under sunlight?
They turn yellow
All I used was a little bit of toothpaste on the parts that had stains it came off automatically
Is there anyone who have used this method?
I soak my laces in bleach water & it worked perfectly
Is it okay to just dry it without sun light touching directly to it?

can the toothpaste use on canvas shoes?
Good question, I didn't try on canvas. Sorry.

Blue soap
is okay to use other color of toothpaste?
Jerrica Biton nope stains the shoes
Yep!
Are you malaysian ???
Save toothpaste and toothbrush for later use preferably after dinner
And if i do not have the sun...? 😕
I think the baking soda method turned the shoe yellow because it was dried under the sun .... I think.
