Please, just throw them in the washing machine. They'll smell better. The laces get clean. If you have suede of leather ones, clean the soles with baby wipes or just a soapy cloth

@SwagKillsEveryone obviously you don't use it on the fabric. you use it on the rubber, the dirt that comes off is amazing. if you get it on the fabric just dab (don't rub) a bit of water on it and it will dry off and go away.

They honestly look like my white converse that have never been washed and I've had them for a year or two and when you skate and go mudding in them, they get really dirty. & 3. I'm just gonna be blunt here.. Those laces look horrible! I'm sorry but really.. They are horrible and I would be embarrassed to wear my laces that way in public.. Just my opinion.
I think your talking about them looking too "brand new" Yeah, you gotta break em in. But there's a point where they look dirtied to the point where it looks really old and tacky. Obviously after a time of wearing there's no such thing as pearly white, just not dirt covered.

worm soapy water and a tooth brush works all right too. especially if you cant get ammonia.
just wash them in a washing machine on hot. I washed my shoes 3 times and they're still intact. The color fades a little, but that looks even better.

just use hand sanitizer+paper towel/Lysol sheets its so quick
yeah i have them and trying to find a way to clean them with out messing up the designs

i have the black converse with the white rubber part too and I just bought black shoe laces for them.. I friggin' hate white shoe laces. >.
i just wash mine in the washer?? i've done it to multiple pairs and never had a problem.. i even dry them in the dryer! so much easier
you can just use a toothpaste and toothbrush to clean the white part

So i used a "Magic Eraser" the other day at work and it worked AMAZING and took 2 minutes per shoe to clean
