Older tables are amazing and it's not the table itself they are playing on, I'm sure they bought new slate and cloth to make it smooth like a baby's bottom but I would love to own that table for the classic look

I recently got asked to join a pool league/team def some diff characters this game attracts.. and why is everyone there pretty much dressed like a bum?!
As they mentioned, it gets really hot at Hard Times (which makes your hands sweat and therefore, a detriment to stroking smoothly).
i was in a league for a while cops, teachers, nurses, bus drivers, roofers a few retirees you name it...there was this on guy who you could say was a bum but he was a friends of the captains tho eventually they had to let him go he just got way too drunk at times.most people go straight from work..maybe they stop and change into their bumming around clothes..
Yea the dress code in a Hard Times is lax and it's about as hot and muggy in there as an open air Philippines bar at noon in monsoon season.
