This is so true.
Ani is the definition of a talented woman. Speaking the honest truth, over & over again, no matter the subject, while she is fully clothed. Show after sold out show, album after album, year after year. She has helped me through some of my toughest times and I have gone through some of the same experiences at the time her songs were released, right down to having my son at the same time she had Petah. I would give anything to be able to tell her just how much she has helped me and how much of an inspiration she has been to me. I went from being a broken child with teenage angst, to a strong independent woman; always with Ani playing and in the back of my mind. Thank you.
+Lindsey Pashkowich (wokelindsey) Thanks for the kind words. We will pass your comment on to ani.
From your friends at RBR
Love the ambient sound of her breathing and the frets on the guitar. So so influenced by who she is and how she makes music. Forever yours. The beauty is more than I can even fathom.

Ani. For. President.
Very interesting, a 4-string guitar. Very eclectic sound!

I'm pretty sure there are only 3 strings on there.

Beautiful! Is that a 4 string acoustic bass?
+Jessica DePasquale a tenor guitar
Does anyone know what the 3rd name is, after Gandhi and King? I'm having trouble hearing it.
+The I937 i think she says Aung San Suu Kyi
Ah, yes! Thank you! That's much clearer.

Hey Google Enya
Imagine a world that concerns themselves with Madonna's latest dumb move - when there is a fully clothed adult named Ani DiFranco that will sing for you! Just Imagine That!
K Hungus yes!! I think one aspect of what she does is really hard and intense, like what you are saying, she balances out all the insipid nonsense and is a tried and true musician who still articulates urgent and poetic messages!! Even when she makes mistakes as we all do, I keep in mind the incredible inspiration she has been to me since I was just entering high school. she remains relevant. she remains inspirational.
