fax, just told my mom I want to get his mat and phone repair tools and start repairing phones. Great idea
iFixit teardowns, as a 17 year old running a repair business, start with aomething like an iPhone 6, and after you repair 5 or 6 devices, you wont even need a tutorial as pretty much every device is the same, and you can just use logic

The audio problem is a well know problem with the chip balls brake and loss contact with the board
I have an iPhone XR and it does the same thing, my sound just leaves sometimes and when I turn my mobile data on it shuts down
It feels illegal for a 2017 phone parts to be that expensive.
Idk why but logic board problems are getting pretty common among other problems.
You should learn micro soldering! Iâm currently learning how to do it, but Iâve fixed 2 iPhones already that needed basic charging ic chips! The chips themselves are really cheap. And itâs really fun if you want to dive deeper into the repair spectrum!
I have the same panic log issue but the damage was in Logical Eeprom to CPU communication đ
Actually the Audio IC itself doesn't cost much , it's about 2$
But since the logic board needs a teardown and tough microsoldering under a efficient microscope đŹ, that costs a lot
(But still about 20$ at most in india)

This happened to my iPhone XR and When I took it to a repair shop they automatically knew it was something wrong with the power chip or whatever itâs called I canât remember. Probably was done by a faulty iPhone accessory.

Infact the easiest way to check why a iPhone is crashing is 3u tools, plug in the phone trust pc, phone will appear on 3u tools on main screen there is one button "crash information"

I hate Audio IC issues. I use iPhone 7 Plus and it has an issue with the audio IC and the speakers, front earpiece and microphone no longer work. Even if you connect an earpiece through the lightning port it doesnât work. Because of this videos never play and you canât record videos with the phone because it just lags and refuses to work. The camera app doesnât work at all it just lags without refusing to take pictures or videos. I use Snapchat to take pics and WhatsApp to make videos but the videos are always muted. The repairer said itâs been worked on too many times so if he tries it again it might damage the board. The best thing is to buy a new logic board.
