Hey Arun, I actually live in the UK rn all the stuff you do and ay in ur vids is great. A lot of stuff I have brought e.g Macbook, Iphone have been at least kind of influenced by ur vids. Great job mate.
đ
Hi, Arun!! At 13:47 you mentioned a shortcut that's able to turn on monochrome mode on and off, and I've been trying to set it up in the shortcuts app, but I don't know how to, could you possibly make a video or reply to me on how to do it? Thank you!!

I can't really describe how much I love this channel. It's not just entertaining but it feels like Arun is talking to everyone personally and not just as a whole audience. Please keep up the great vids!
He shoots these videos in his bedroom often alone (check his facts about me video), now compare this to mkbhd who has a big studio and crew
Same
Same for me too!
For #7, I use Apple Maps. If you long press on your current spot after parking, it will drop a generic custom pin that you can rename and navigate back to later. Not sure if Google Maps does this too, but I'd be really surprised if it didn't in some way.
Google maps has a similar feature
Thank you Arun for your hardworking and dedication to making these videos but also making use aware of the dangers we are faced but also the happiness to be had
I like how this channel has gone from a âTech onlyâ channel to a âFun techâ channel! Really love it!
Unlike Marquez Brownlee he just became a sponsorship ad magnet channel
More like "Phone Tech" to "Fun Tech"
Hehehe
@@gigachad9211 I do like how he presents his content. I'm a more recent sub myself, but I find his content quite interesting.
what's the difference
@@user-ov2fc5sd1e mkbhd seems boring now
Hey Arun, about number 7 (remember where your car is parked).. most people use google maps for navigation and instead of installing a whole different app just for your cars location you can just use the feature âsave parking locationâ while youâre next to your car before you leave and it will save that exact location in google maps. I learnt a lot about my device today, thankyou!
Why no commenti?
@@jigglypuffseenfromabove no need
Only negative thing about it is multiple floors parkings

Hey arun thanks for the

I thought there was no way this video would teach me something I would regularly use but man, a quarter of these are actual features/tricks I will use going forward. I've watched the video twice now. You guys did a great job. I have to also say, I recognize how much time this video must have taken to prepare and shoot. This is like 35 mini shorts videos, and I understand those minute videos can each take several hours to make. I also understand the exhaustive research you must have done to find these tricks many people like me will actually use. Thank you for the most helpful video I've watched this year :)

It is insane how much Arunâs content has improved. Iâve been watching you since 2018, and even then your content was probably some of the best tech content. But now, youâve entered a league of your own.
Well yeah but it's also insane how MUCH biased he is. I'm not supposed to care but the fact that he knows A LOT more about iOS features rather than Android, make this not really a believable source. But that's just my 2 cents
@@TheFili6 I've been watching this channel for months, and I dont seem to find him being very biased in any way.
Also Arun has been using IOS for the past months, but he was an android user for YEARS in beforehand, IOS features are more relevant than android ones, because IOS features are high quality only and very rare, while android got hundreds of different features not available anywhere else, everything from a low quality "no one uses this" thing to super useful quality features.
@@TheFili6 android products have more of an upfront features, they tell you what it is if they can. but ive dove really deep in apple features and settings and i barely saw the tip of the iceberg. And android features are different with all phones, a samsung might have better features than a xiaomi, but ios products are only made by apple
He did start this yt channel with recommended android application roundups....
v
I actually had no idea that dark mode saved battery! I just use it because it's easier on my eyes
that only works for AMOLED screens
@@ddddaaddaaaa In fact, for TFT screens better use a white theme. So it's kinda vice versa.
26th tip is used in aquascaping as well, it's based on the so called Gold Proportion (which is not exactly 2/3 but very close to it, i.e. 1.61).
Specifically, this is the Golden Ratio. It is approximately 1.618, and exactly (1 + (5 ^ (1/2)) / 2.
At 2:16 he literally showed us his basketball đ Skill. That's amazing, you should go one on one with Marques.
It would be fun to watchđ
Oh, hell yeah! Let's see it!
Arun, this is gold. Thank you. Your content, like your promise of making relatable content in 2022, is going absolutely as planned. I have shared this video with a lot of CZcams enthusiasts who might choose to become your subscribers and rightfully so.

Nice tips! Thanks!
I consider myself as a tech person but some of those tricks even I didnât know. Thanks man :)
Thatâs a well made video, with no time wasted and actually useful tricks! I remember his old videos of this series, where he even skipped the intro. It was nice!
Those days were great been following him for time now
I sent this to all my friends! You are my favorite tech creator and you never give me and my friends wrong information! I also loved your collaboration with Tom Scott plus!
Loved your video Arun. I love your videos and have been watching for years.
Your a legend bro
Arun: we all are just getting addicted to smartphones
Also Arun: use shower cage to watch your smartphones in shower đlol
I love how Arun's videos got no bs, are always on point and always got creative and fun ways to spread information
Yea but his shorts channel imho is full of bs, the recent toaster video is beyond cringe
@@wicked_john Yes, but that's what TikTok-style content is for. Also, it's higher quality than what you find on TikTok
this is bs i clicked the video cuz i thought the thumbnail meant there was a feature to use 2 fingerprints to unlock your phone to be more secure
This is actually super neat, I'd looked up model specific tips and tricks but never thought to see if there were any universal hacks
This is a good video for pretty much anyone who wants to learn more whys to use this smart phone, I'm quite Lodgeable in that stuff and fond a trick or two! So yeah a good video
a little annendum to 7:00. android phones have a feature called nearby share built-in which is basically what airdrop is where you can share files, photos, contacts, etc, between two android devices
He knows that, it's about Sharing it with a Mac or an other apple device
@@freyhofer he mentioned other android devices too so I thought I'd share that tip for anyone looking to share just between androids
I love how he makes these informational and fun, not every tech tuber does that
tech burner
I actually use your videos to fall asleep đ
Me too! I think itâs the accent haha
I actually couldnât find a way to make the tripple clik of the power button to switch color filter on my iphone. BUT, I discovered a "back tap" where you can map two commands (one by double tapping and another by tripple tapping the back of the phone (as in on the apple logo) to all sorts of different commands. Even the color filter change :)
Another really useful trick that I found:
If you are using a phone with a bad camera or one that doesn't have great dynamic range (ex: Redmi 9A, the phone I have), you can instead of taking a regular photo, you can instead take a night mode photo which helps the dynamic range a lot. Unfortunately night mode photos on lower end phones take a while to capture and even longer to process, so if you're trying to capture something that lasts for like a few seconds or something then use normal photos, but for something that's going to last for at least like 5 seconds+ it's better to use a night mode shot because it will also help with quality
thx
Great video Arun. On number 12 (9:44); this feature exists on OneUI as well. Press and hold any app icon on your Home Screen. Hit the âselectâ button. Tap the extra apps you want to move and then hold one of them and start dragging.
I never noticed that. Thank you!

Congratulations for the new phone shelf, Arun!
It is absolutely beautiful. You are right to find DIY PERKS to work for that design.
Thank you for this! I had no idea that Apple had the full page screenshot. I use Samsung so knew that one but when I tried to use an Apple device for work I thought it didn't have the option at all!
Thanks for some great tip/tools.
Just an additional query on MFA using an authenticator app. If an older Android device has authenticator app for say 10 odd apps, is there a way taht it can also be transferred to a new Android device?
14:45
For this tip, just remember to store the backup codes the app gives you in a secure location where you can find them later. The last thing you want is for you to lose or break your phone, and then be locked out of all your accounts forever.
I would recommend either keeping backup codes in a local, password-locked file on a computer somewhere, or in a notebook you have hidden in your house.
Or a cloud based keeper type program with security like lastpass or safeincloud. You're 100% correct EOD, though
13:35 Me: *triple clicks my power button*
The cops: âah you are being kidnappedâ

If you use cable tise. it will look more neat if you strap one around all -löse and then one between every cable, so they line up.
I prefer 1u server rack power strips mounted under my desk.

Think one of the things you can add to your list is have people speed up or even shut off their screen transition animations on developer mode in Android.
Makes your phone feel much snappier.

probably related to #21, to quickly delete what you typed, tap and hold backspace on GBoard, and drag left to select words or even lines.
Another hack I have for fingerprint scanners are for you to add one profile for your right thumb and another profile for your left. The reason this is helpful is like maybe your holding your phone in a certain way or your eating with the other hand, Hope this helps đ
