You definitely won’t have any leftovers when you make these zucchini fritters. This is my go-to recipe whenever I have an abundance of zucchini, especially when they’re in season and growing like weeds! You only need one pound of zucchini for this easy fritter recipe, but you can double or even triple the recipe.

Omg guys I forgot to remove the timer at the bottom of the video. Sorry about that, hope its not too distracting :)
love the receipe , but what can I use instead of the eggs???
Love the tip to leave the stem on for a handle while grating the zucchini. Why didn't I ever think of that?!!
As long as you don't grate any of that little end, as it will make you sick.
But that is common sense 🤔
"Clean comfort cooking" im down!!
Delicious! I added a little shredded carrot and onion, and doubled the garlic. Thanks for the recipe!
Thank you for that tip I’ll try that way I like lots of flavor as well
I did the same haha 😅❤
I am from the Philippines and I love to cook.
I THINK YOU DO A GOOD JOB WITH THE WISK
Can't wait to try this! Dumb question, but wouldn't adding salt to the shredded zucchini help with getting the water out as opposed to salting it later?
Add salt to your grated zucchini. Let sit for 20 minutes. Then squeeze moisture out. I think it will be easier and you will get more liquid.
Thanks for the tip!
Zucchini, not egg lol
Yes 👍
You’re doing fine with your whisking. It doesn’t matter how you do it as long as it’s beaten 😂😂
I was wondering why he didn't add a little salt. It draws out way more water, and most of the salt is removed with the water. You do need to adjust the salt in the recipe to account for what remains, but so long as you don't add too much at the start, it works great.
I just made these with my grandchildren. The 4 year old picky eater ate 4 and wanted more! Quick and easy recipe. I made it paleo by using cassava flour.
Really???? I have never tried Cassava flour. I’m gonna get some today! And yes, this guy doesn’t season. I would also NEVER make this recipe without ONION! Garlic and onion is the base for all my cooking. I’d also use a mild to moderate seasoning blend in this too. The addition of carrot is great nutrition, and the slight sweetness of the carrot would really balance out the taste. So, I’ll try this version of the recipe first, with the cassava flour.
@@c16621 you sound like me! I always add onion and garlic and jazz up recipes. I hate bland!
You're a great egg whisker and love the speed of your video... yummy food
Beautiful whisking 🥳
Made these but used buckwheat flour which is gluten free plain sweet onion and they were very good
Whisking is personal preference, how I whisk depends on what I am whisking. But in the grand scheme, it isn't an issue. I love your idea of leaving stem end on while shredding. Chef's kiss to you!
Thanks Caryn! 🙌🏻
I don’t care how you’re wisking because I don’t have to. You’re doing the cooking. 😊
Haha thanks
I would tell her thank her for her advice I'm going to beat the egg but I'm going to be thinking of you.
I am more than glad......to see again your fritter recipe. I went awol for a while.....but am so glad that I subscribed to you.....back then. I bought a giant zucchini at nearby farmers market.....so now I gotta use it!!! I so much am looking forward to making these healthy fritters. Thank you. Ahna
Omg! Looks great! Thank you!
Hi Colt. I just found you today. Thanks for this recipe -- and the tips along the way. Your clever narrating was much enjoyed. And I know this video is from a year ago -- and I'm probably the thousandth person to say this -- but your whisking skills are incredible!!!!! Nice work! I wanted to save your recipe to my "Recipes" library -- but I couldn't find the link. I'll just search "Zucchini Fritters" the next time I plan to make some.
Umm yummy 😋. Love ❤ your recipes!!thanks ❤
Awesome, thank you, I cooked it, loved it ❤
Thank you they look awesome
Hi watching your courgette fritters video inspired me to cook them this evening. Yes they where delicious
I tried so many other recipes, but yours is by far the best. Bravo❤️
Aw thank you!
I really love your recipe. Thank you for sharing good and healthy food.
I am from the Philippines and I love to cook
Thank you l will make those tomorrow.
Looking for this ,thanks
So glad u talked about these fritters. Thk you. I play with seasonings but mainly....these fritters are so tasty!! And nutritious. I put sour cream on mine, or spaghetti sauce, etc. Thks so much. I subscribed. Ahna USA
Try and omit the flour and add 12-15 crushed ritz crackers. It makes a huge difference. YUM!
Thanks for that tip. They're pretty good yet I'll try that.
If you like dill add either to mixture or sour cream... pretty tasty too.
You’re a superstar! Just found you. Your egg scrambling technique is perfection. That’s how I do it. 😁 New sub. Off to watch more videos! Thanks for all.
So glad to hear it!
I love zucchini & the way u made it looks soo yummy, thanks for this delicious recipe,u whisky was perfect
I made these today and boy I loved 🥰 them❤️❤️❤️
So happy to hear that!
It looks yummy, Thank You.
Thank you for watching!
These zucchini fritters are the best I make them all the time. The only thing I do different is put some baking powder in and make them rise higher
Excellent
Here's my comments on your whisking... 2:33 See how you are holding the whisk perpendicular to the bowl? Try holding the whisk at an angle like you're holding your spoon 4:00. Yes, you might have to tip the bowl, but remember, you want to lift that whisk up and out of the egg so it captures air as it falls back into the bowl. You might want to try a balloon whisk... it has a much bigger circumference that will better match your bowl. Sending lots of love 💖 from sunny 🌞 Arizona 🌵😷
Great egg beater A+!
That's why I subscribed. Lol
Can't wait to make these.
Loved your video & thank you. I suggest putting some salt to the grated zucchini will help to draw out the fluid.
GOD BLESS !
Hey I don't crochet or knit like you are supposed to but it looks like it is supposed to. Your eggs look just fine. Don't listen to other people. You are doing a fine job.
Congrats on over 10K subs! I think I would save the zuke water for soup stock. Looks delish!
Thank you! That’s a great idea about the zucchini water 🙌🏻
@@cookingwithcoit was going to use it for a roti dough
Great tip I didn't thank of... thank you!
@@cookingwithcoit, Today (3/29/23) there 123k subscribers... you've come along way baby!👍. 💖🌞🌵😷
I keep a big container in my freezer to collect left overs for soup instead of putting that spoonful of corn or peas, ect. in the bin. This zucchini water would be a great addition! If I was using a plastic collection bag, I might freeze the water first in an ice cube tray and put the zucchini cubes in the bag to prevent leakage and easier defrosting. 💖🌞🌵😷
I love fritters and I love zucchini. This is a perfect recipe! Your wrist action looks OK to me but I am no expert!
Haha thank you!
Your egg beating game is strong! 😂😂
Look so good🙏🏼😇👌
I’m making these
I notice that everbody in the cook videos uses a bowl and a whisk, I find the easiest way is to put the eggs in a tea/coffee cup and use a fork to mix the eggs
You are holding the whisk in a funny way
You are beating the eggs perfectly :)
I made this tonight and my meat eating hubby loved them.
He's been eating healthier and these were perfect!!!
I added some dill and lite cream cheese to the sour cream to pull it all together and both he and I say this is a keeper recipe.
Highly recommend!!!
CZcams algorithm knocked your channel out of the park.
Thank You!!!
I love yhis recipe for my home grown zukes
I use an old school egg beater where you turn the handle, it's great!
That’s awesome!
I did your zucchini fritters with marinara sauce tonight . . . emmm good
So happy to hear that Mike!
Hi! This looks beyond amazing. When we grow zucchini in our garden they never have water in them. Always dry. Awesome recipe! TFS!
Thank you! You are going to love these fritters!
Yum 👏❤️
A few additions are always helpful (or not 🤪) I see what she means about your whisking technique. I hold the whisk differently and I hold the bowl to accompany the whisk (watch French Chef Jacques Pepin, and other seasoned chefs how they do it) you might find it more user friendly. I would have added a teaspoon or so of baking powder to your mix - gives it that 'puff factor'. If you're going to use grated parm, I'd go easier on the salt. When squeezing out the water from your zucchini, in addition to hand pressure at the bottom, I twist and keep twisting and squeezing the towel at the top and massage and squeeze the 'zucchini ball' until there's a smaller and smaller zucchini ball. I like your tip for keeping the stem end for a handle whilst grating. They looked really crunchy and tender in the middle. The sour cream is almost a must. Thank you
Good! Even better with a little herbs added to the sour cream dip, dill or basil.
Yummy 😋
Thanks Becky! You are going to love them, I just know it :)
The egg bashing was great 🙂
Thanks for the step-by-step instructions! My wife has recently fallen in love with these so I'm going to try your recipe, but put them in my air fryer. 😀
Great idea, I havent tried them in the air fryer but I bet they will come out great
How did they turn out in the AirFryer?
Very nice bro
Ur whisking is nothing wrong its fine. With me now i have a mixer that can do the grating and the whisking coz i have arthrites in my fingers so i make things easier for myself.Ur zuccines look delicious😊
you are very good👏
Thank you 🙌🏻
Delicious good!!! FYI u can use an ice cream scooper
How do you like your Hexclad pan? I just ordered a set.
Sprinkle the salt used in receipe over zucchini let set 10 min using strainer. Juice will come out of zucchini 🙂👍 add pepper, (no more salt) add flour, some garlic powder & finish receipe.😋.
Que rico 😋
I am heading to Aldi's for my zucchini. I have to buy a cheese cloth too! That looks so good! Is that a lite sour cream?😋😋😋😋
Wondering if this chef has used spinach for this fritter? Have to try zucchini fritter thank you!
Am on keto and these look really tasty.. Can we use almond flour instead regular one? Would it still hold up the ingredients together?
Can you substitute extra parm cheese and omit the flour to make them low carb and GF?
Love these! we also add garlic to a sour-cream, tastes even better😊
Those are great additions!
If you like dill try that also. We loved it.
Or add horsera 😋dish to sour cream
I have noted down your quantities, since that is so important. I make these with a grated potatoe (raw), kind of what we call "Kartoffelpuffer". I have a question: why don't you add the salt to the grated zucchine since that removes the liquid easier and better than just squeezing? I assume there is a reason behind your method, though.
Since you are adding flour…you needn’t squeeze out the water…just add a little more flour…and hang onto the zucchini water which holds a lot of the vegetable’s vitamins.
Thanks for speeding it up. And frankly who cares how one beats up an egg…as long as it is beaten.
To each his own.
Hi, would this recipe work in an air fryer?
Yami yami que rico 😋
Regardless of wrist strength; at least you are using the proper utensil! It blows me away how many CZcams presenters attempt to whip with a fork or one of those ridiculous springy things. Great job and thank you!
Coating them in breadcrumbs makes them crispier
Today (3/29/23) there 123k subscribers... you've come along way baby!👍. 💖🌞🌵😷
Could you prepare the fritters ahead of time, freeze them, then fry when you want some?
Must the timer be right where we want to see most of the time?
Please spaghetti squash recipe
Can I freeze them after cooking
What can use replace the eggs? Vegetarian style?
Can these be cooked in the air fryer
It would be nice to see the recipe under the video, but I am trying it right now.
Looks yummy. What is this frying pan you are using? It has a honeycomb pattern. Is there a reason for that? I would like to know more as I am looking for a good non stick frying pan.
Hi- I pretty much ONLY use Hexclad pans now. They are fantastic. They take a little getting used to in the beginning because they heat up faster than the usual non-stick pans, but once you get used to them you will never go back to traditional non-stick again :)
Thank you so much!
What could I use instead of flour ?
Can another type of flour be used?
Does the water from the zucchini contain a lot of vitamens?
I don't think your wrist is weak and those eggs look good!
Agree.
Haha thank you!
Thank you! 🙌🏻
Everybody do it different I do my like that to
Can you use almond flour and egg whites instead?
😂 you did good beating the eggs
Better than potato fritters!!
Yey! Congratulations on your 10k subs🥳 next will be 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 100k 🤩🥳 can you please tell us your recipe for a home made mayo🙂 thanks 🙂
Thank you! 🎉 I don't have a home made mayo recipe but when I do I will let you know!
Hi Liz,
Don't know if you're still looking for a mayo recipe but here is how we make it in France:
1 egg yolk + 1 tsp of French Dijon mustard + salt & pepper (a pinch each). Whisk to mix it all and then add some neutral oil (sunflower, grapeseed...Some people use olive oil especially in the south of France but for me it gives too much of a strong taste) Add the oil little at a time while whisking vigorously. As soon as the oil is well incorporated, add a bit more oil and whisk some more. Repeat the operation until your mayo thickens to your liking. You can also use an electric whisker (it's much quicker & the mayo is a little thicker).
It's better if your egg is at room temperature and if you only add roughly 1tbsp of oil at a time. If you've put too much by mistake & your mayo turns all liquid, don't panic keep whisking until it thickens again.
You can also jazz up your mayo with some lemon juice & fresh herbs
Hope this helps
@@ghislainecolleau5624 wow! Thank you so much 🤩🤩🤩 I really appreciate it!🥰
@@Aligar1724 You're welcome. I forgot to say that you can keep it in the fridge for up to one week
Nice recipe, however, I eat low carb foods and wondered if I sub almond or coconut (or other) flour for the all purpose flour you use would that still or would it somehow mess up the fritters? Sour cream makes a great dipping sauce.
Hi- you can absolutely substitute alternative flours in this recipe.
@@cookingwithcoit Good to know, I will be making this this weekend. Thank you
@@cookingwithcoit try peach chutney with the fritters or pancakes
. Wonderful taste together.
What brand of pan are you using?
I use Hexclad and I love them!
Can we air fry these?
Is there any way to make orange chicken a bit healthier? I’m thinking honey instead of sugar and an air fryer instead of regular oil
Yes those are great substitutions that should work well for orange chicken.
try a potato ricer to squeeze out the juice . . .
