What if the main body paragraph structure is the following: topic sentence -> explanation-> example. Is it wrong?
Thanks to your videos, i scored a 7 in writing after initially scoring a 6. My overall grade increased from a 7.5 to an 8. All of which was within the span of a week. My only preparation was watching your videos and practicing writing two days before the exams.

should be " the workload may be higher too". Two different words.

Hey can you help me please
anybody, is it true that in writing task 2 we have to write both sides of the arguments (both the affirmative view and the disagreement)? I took a try-out / placement test, and the task was "To what extent do you agree or disagree with the following statement : ..." I gave 2 points of disagreement and wrote using the correct structure. But I got 6, despite the wide range vocabs, correct grammar, and the right academic tone. They said the reason was because my writing heavily sided to one view. :/ I have never heard that we need to express both perspectives.
Can someone please give clarity here? I had a similar question and stated that I strongly disagree and explained my reasons, ended up with a band 6.5

Hey Asiya, I see you developed more than one point in each paragraph. Is that allowed?
According to IELTS "Use one paragraph for each idea or topic area. "
I'm a little bit confused here.
"One idea" is more like one topic in this case, e.g. the advantages or the first view. Bare in mind that most IELTS essays only have two body paragraphs

Hlo everyone i have one question...it is said that only one main topic in one paragraph but what if question ask causes and solution only..how maany should we write
Intro and conclusion paragraph should be one but body paragraphs can be and should be more than one for a good presentation and proper essay for example you wrote two body Paras for causes and two for solutions like this . In total, you wrote 4 body paragraphs

Thanks so much 4 your videos which are inspirational and effettive...only 2 weeks studying and practising and my son got a 6.5..but it could have been a little bit more..actually he was angry with the guys during the test: writing task2 he asked for a synomim for a word he didn't know...they said " NO!".. so, he wrote about 300words about a topic he hadn't got well😢...

Hi everyone! I'm trying to do the body paragraph 2 on my own, and this is how it looks like; what do you guys think?
Despite having more financial potentials, some self-employed people may have some financial problems and more responsibilities. Being free to choose working hours makes people have to consider their working path really carefully. Along with that, if they failed to do it, they might have a financial uncertainty. This leads to a higher level of stress comparing to office workers.
All feedbacks would be highly appreciated :)
I would fix it like this: Despite having more financial freedom, some self-employed people may have to deal with uncertain income and high responsibility || also, I think there is logical error nt he way you write the other following sentence (Being free doesn't mean they need to consider their working path carefully or else they will have financial uncertainty, but rather requires the to be discipline and well organize for all the tasks needed to be done as a freelancers, as there is no guidance or spcific times spent for each tasks, self emplyed means they have to handle everything on their own, so being responsible is an crucial trait.) for the uncertain income, I would say in seperate idea like there is no benefit like salary, compensate => need to be maintain well or else this will lead to dealing with financial problem, stress and mental concerns.

I see the word count is 286. In IELTS GT computer-based exam we are not allowed to write more than 250 words. This would eventually increase the stress to finish the essay in 250 words despite having great ideas. How can we target this issue ?
You must write MORE than 250 words, not less ;)
