They won it in style and with confidence, no hanging on, no struggling over the finish line, no playing with nerves etc. They only got stronger the more matches they played after a shaky start to their 2023 campaign by their own high standards.
I think they'll stay grounded and not tap into the hype-train though. It was a very close and exciting 2023 and there often wasn't much between the teams with plenty of other counties having clearly put in a lot of hard work but from a Limerick perspective we have to enjoy these moments, they don't come around often and don't last forever.
This is the Best Hurling team of All time. Without Question now.

We’re very luck to get out of Munster
However Limerick are a totally different team with a fully fit Cian Lynch on board. The fact is he almost single handedly broke KKs bubble in the ten minutes before half time, when he was switched in on Reed. The fact that neither Tipp or Clare could beat either of their Leinster opponents and Limerick beat Galway and Kilkenny by nine points says it all.
Just wondering who kilkenny would be able to beat next Saturday like the teams in Munster have to do?
Kk beat Clare and Galway beat Tipp? Munster is ordinary if you take Limerick out of it.
