what a lovely man nicky brennan is. a great gaa man and his knowledge of hurling and indeed camogie is unreal.
4 in a row 5 in a row in Munster and won the league what a season the best ever 💚
In a nutshell leauge munster and all ireland champions
Z
Let's be honest folks, what KK experienced was one misscheduled wedding on Saturday (all the KK lads were at it), and a funeral on Sunday.
KK took their hammering fair and square .Lucky for GAA, if Clare had gotten to final imagine amount of diving and flopping and sleaze they'd bring while LK pasted them varmints. Disgraced the occasion and weren't even there So sad
The guy on the left is sour.
Mentioning JP McManus right after that incredible second half performance says you are bitter deep down.
😂
How is that bitter...jp and limerick might as well be man City and ethiad airways
@@dechardy3093except theres no transfer market you muppet - that's a terrible analogy. But lovin' the tears man
Limericks key to beating Kilkenny came from two important points I haven't heard anyone discuss.
How to out do kilkennys ferocious "Tyrone" style tackling. Win the ball immediately give it to support players. Limerick do this perfectly. Pass around 2 or 3 times as quickly as you can untill a little bit of space is created and then burst forward.
Kilkenny tried to track numbers back when Limerick were attacking. Limerick over comes this by scoring long range points from around the 65 sidelines. There's always a little bit of space there.
This is something they clearly have worked on in the training field.
Some of Limericks long range points were a joy to behold.
And that was called puke football
Tks for a great season boys 👍
TJ and Eoin Cody didnt turn up lads along with Mikey Butler 5 points off him Casey took him for 3 and he conceded 2 frees which were scored. Hard to win when 3 big players dont turn up on the biggest day
Infairness Cody went well in the first half. And Casey was only on butler when the games was effectively over
As a kk person more worried about the half foward line
Great show lads
Lots of experts said injuries are the only thing that can stop Limerick that isn't even stopping them now, a clean sweep season equals 8 allstars i think
Limerick have to go to cork and ennis next season, tough ask, but if they get out of munster the 5 in a row is on, but its a big if
This Limerick team have excellent record in Pairc Ui Chaoimh, in fact I'd say it's one of the two pitches that suit their game (along with Croker). Ennis is only a problem if Clare are doing well, it's hard to know with Clare.
It's been a "big if" since 2018. And yet Limerick always find the answer.
@@brianhourigan If Finn and Hannon are fit and Lynch remains unscathed for the next twelve months they will be hard to beat, but of course you never know.
Good show lads. I love all the spades getting called spades every week 😂
Gillane HOTY (Hayes pushing him close) and Cathal O'Neill YHOTY.
Brilliant from Nicky
Kyle Hayes was my man of the match all day, heart of a lion.....
Lynch was immense as well, especially those 10 minutes before half time.
58 years since tipp went back to back, but you have the famous 1 in a row, never contested 4 munster finals in a row, only one of big 3 that never won 4 in a row, never even contested 4 all irelands in a row, but tipp have classier hurlers than limerick 😂
😉👍🏽
You sad individual that would go looking for all those useless stats...I bet you could afford Dublin Hotel prices as you had nearly 50 years to save up for it...jp Abdullah mcmanus is on a shopping spree much like man city.
😂😂😂
They did contest five Munster Finals in arow-'61 to '65, but they neve won four in a row
@peadarocoileain902 they didn't 1960, 1961, 1962, didn't get to the munster in 1963 so won 3 in a row
Michael, much prefer the hair when it looks like you have bben pulled through a thorn bush backwards. The choir boy cut for your day out at Croker is a choker or a shocker.
after the drama with the ball going the net im sure a few laois hurling supporters remembered the opposite happening back in the 80s as in the ball going into the net from the other side of it v offaly? the difference was the "goal" was allowed !! was the difference in winning and losing basically.
@Liamy Bourke said as he Came out of Croker yesterday got a text from a friend from Clare telling me they’d have beaten Limerick yesterday.
Hey Liamy find out what he is smokin.. cause it must be some serious shit man!
Watch Lynch . Thats the difference . Cian Lynch is unreal
Are the GAA running the All-Ireland’s off in July to facilitate live concerts being run in the better weather. They easily facilitated other groups/organisations during the Covid impositions but it looks like the GAA players and supporters are not given the priority they deserve. Has it come down to money at the cost of our great GAA culture.
The lads here are pointing out these issues so I hope the GAA top brass take these concerns on board.
Exactly, cold play playing in croke park next August 2024, over 100 staff in Croke Park getting over 100k per year!
Loving MV's haircut ❤
Wheres the sound
Don’t see this Kilkenny team being able to beat limerick over the next 3 years , I think Galway cork Clare have a better chance over that period
@@aidanholland126Kilkenny won the u20 last year
Play the club championship first and start the championship in mid june all ireland finals in mid to late September
No, keep county players fit for championship,
Don't know where people are getting kyle Hayes as poty had an average championship. Gillane ,Byrnes cody ahead of hayes
Kyle Hayes had 23 possesions yesterday more than anybody else.
Just shows how much you know about hurling Kyle was brilliant in every game this year
@@mikedoyle8195 yeah me and half the country
@@scoobydee3954 not my fault you don't understand or half the country
Leo giving Cody player of the year over Gillane and Hayes🤣🤣, trying to stay in the good books of the Leinster folk. OOOVVV OILYAA!!😅
Exactly he didnt turn up yesterday and he hurler off the year. Joke statement
Stupid comment from him
If TJ is a starter next year Killkenny are in big trouble . Say what you see
Watch raising the treaty . Its not money ffs
Id Admire Killkenny more than Tipp And Clare all day long .... from Shane to Jamsie ... suck it up
It is bitter btw
Kilkenny wouldnt get out of Munster the Leinster championship is a farce
Yet Galway beat Tipp and Kilkenny beat Clare. Munster hurling isn’t it’s all it’s made out to be
@liamb0142 it is. Its just teams are left battered and bruised and knackered by the time they get to go through the back door,
Limerick are wordy champions fair play too them...but were'nt first too do a 4 in a row or will be the last either..munster aint all that either..come back too us lad's when ye are wordy of 36 all ireland's and ye have a player with 10 medels in his back pocket..fact..
@@damienaylward Ye abandoned Football about 1930, and fair play to ye, ye put a great Coaching system in place as far back as 1957 under Fr Tommy Maher. Ye can be very proud of your 36, but we, with the sixth Hurling Population in the country can justly proclaim that we punch above our weight with the number of All Irelands we have won.
I would not yet compare them to other great teams yet....kilkenny might have had it easy in leinster but they were coming up against strong Tipp Galway Cork and Waterford teams and none of these teams are strong now along with a kilkenny team who are at best average.
In KK's '4-in-a-row' they beat a very average Limk team in 2007 that were lucky to get to the final. The 2008 win was against a Waterford team that for some reason no-one has ever done a dive into the mayhem of the prep & the chaos in the dressing-room before taking to the field. The 2009 win was due largely to a vert soft penalty award - I remember it well. Had KK backed to cover the hcp & they were going to lose the game before the penalty.
Those looking back on the KK team of 2006-09 are doing so through the lenses of very ruddy rose-tinted glasses.
@@raymondgilbourne112 And in 2996 they only beat a now weakening Cork team that could beat a very Limerick team by a point and Waterford by the same amount.
Current Limk team are 'the best ever' but I expect that in 10yrs time we'll watch videos of this team & we'll be shocked at how 'bad' they are.
Tonight I watched the 1973 final - with greats like Cregan, Grimes, McKenna, Hartigan, Henderson, Delaney, Cody, Skehan etc. The standard was appalling.
Then watched the 2004 final. It was significantly better than 1973 but well off the modern standards.
Whilst the current Limk team are unmatched by anything that has proceeded them what will come will surpass them by a significant degree.
Pierluigi Collina .... if your good your good
Tipp are the only team limerick couldn't beat this year
But Tipp have lost to them in seven of their last eleven meetings and look at their poor performance against Galway.
Gallane is HOTY
😂
No too much hand passing should use Hurley not use hands
