- Take a Ride on the old Timber Mountain log ride at Knotts Berry Farm.
This is what Timber Mountain was like before it would undergo a five-month renovation to include animatronic figures and new scenes. The original version closed on January 6, 2013, and reopened on May 31, 2013. We then filmed the second version and released two videos of it on September 10, 2013 and one of the two became the most popular video on our channel.

These ride is fantastic rode it 8 times in one park visit. The lines go by quickly and the experience is wonderful.
i went when there wasnt a line for ANYTHING and i went on this like 5 times.

I kind of like this ride better than Splash Mountain because on this one, there are no singing animals. But this hill is A LOT steeper than Splash Mountains one.

They already did, i went yesterday and the ride was closed.
When you ride this hold your arms up in the dark tunnels and a recorded voice will shout at you to sit down.
Everytime I watch these water rides, They make me get a glass of water to drink!

I know the Disney theme parks can't be a coaster park chain, it's just that the Disney version's much better when it comes to audio-animatronics.

It really depends on the weight. If your log doesn't have that many people in it, it won't be as heavy and you won't get as wet.

Thanks for the tip, but I've tried searching the ride and none of them show what happens in the dark so I couldn't really tell how big the drop is. Thanks anyways! :D

Splash Mountain came second, Disney just had a lot more money and technology to work with when Splash Mountain debuted in 1989. When this ride was built, man had just landed on the moon and people listened to music on AM radio.

Yep, this ride was made in 1969. I just read the page on Wikipedia myself, seeking the dates of ownership etc.
In all fairness, The Disneyland resort has some fairly "thrilling" rids, of which Splash mountain is one. And for me, anyway, California Screamin' is the perfect roller-coaster; a little of everything with not too much of anything....while safely ensconced in a cockpit! And let's face it....nobody 'themes' like Disney. But this ride is quaint and good over all.

This ride is one of only a few classic log flumes still in existance. As a huge Disney fan, I love Splash Mountain, and feel it is a better ride. Although this ride is great none the less. The only sucky part is every other time I visit Knott's this ride is closed.

So I went on a field trip to knotts and to on this ride andOMGEE it's rad koo at night!
I was eating a candied apple on this ride and they tole me to put away... Once i got to the top i started eating it, and at 2:17 my friend took the apple and threw it off the edge... And at 2:46 you have to look for a light (red, or blue) and u have to put ur hands up really fast... Like up and down, They have a recorder that plays "sit down" when u put ur hands up. We always put em up really fast and it goes "s-ss-sss-sss-sss- I-t-tt- Down" Its hilarious... Everybody try it when u go to knotts.

Knott's needs more themed rides like this one. No more of that "extreme thrill ride" crap, please. If I wanted thrill rides, I'd go to Six Flags. I loved Knott's as a kid because of the themed rides and attractions like the Soap Box Racers and Kingdom of the Dinosaurs. Now those two are both gone. :o(

@VlogManInfinite I kinda like how cheesy the animatronics are. They look dorky old and stupid by todays standards, but that's how they looked when the ride first opened. It's like a time capsule or something.
its restricted but people still use their devices, if you get caught u get kicked out of the park

Thats pretty bad quality for "HD" you said it was HD so i put 720p because that was the highest i can go but its poor grapgics u should think of getting a Go Pro HD camera those are awsome!
i went to this ride when i was small in school we went for field trip and i loved that ride its like JURASSIC PARK and all i was screaming in this ride was HOLY CACA! and my friends told me why i was saying that and i told them the little man r creepy
