I don't think the excuse some people are using about the Chelsea captain and how he was 'busy motivating other players'. I'm not being funny but it was the last minute or so of play, the captain should've told Kepa to get off or at least show he was backing the manager. I don't see the point of a team leader who doesn't get involved in a dispute between a player and a manager but instead chooses to ignore the situation as if it isn't happening.
That said, it's entirely Kepa's fault and he should not be excused for this.
Exactly that is why i didnt wanted Azpi to be our captain. He doesnt have that auro to captain a team. He is like foot soldier who entirely relies on the given command. He doesnt organize the defense when it starts to shake nor is vocal with his motivation. He just looks over his own shoulder and place. That armband means little to him, i suppose. Therefore he should surrender it. But having said that there is no player with the stature of Terry or Ballack or Lampard or Drogba or heck even A.Cole to justify that armband in our current squad. All are scared pussy when tough gets going.
