One of the greatest managers of all time. It's a shame that kids who started watching football 3 years ago will never know how legendary Jose actually was.
He has just introduced Drones at Roma training ground. As well as a giant screen in the field to show players their mistakes in real time.
First time ever that method is being used in Italy.
And Roma scored 12 and conceded 0 in 2 pre season matches
I have a strong feeling Jose is coming back with a vengeance this season
... actually is.
He also got bottle ham to a final and got sacked because they are a joke of club
It goes same for Pep tho. I've seen many Mourinho fans cussing Pep, claiming they would've done if they manage City etc. smfh. Do people really think coaching is that easy? If you have full of world class players in your squad, you dont have to tell them anything. Just send them to pitch and inshallah they will score. Thats what haters think.
I’ve heard he’s hired at least two ‘Look-a-Likes’ of himself that go to regular night club haunts to give the impression that he is everywhere so players don’t go there
Zlatan Ibrahimovic once said "Mourinho made me a lion." When an already huge personality like Zlatan says that, then you know Jose is the real deal.
I wasnt biggest Mourniho fan, but after watching his teamtalks in the spurs documentary I understood why Zlatan, Terry, Drogba and other leaders say they'd run through brick walls for Mourinho. The man is a legend.
Gone are the days when a player will simply do what a coach asks them to do, now it's the managers that have to kiss ass and hug players every time. Can't even try to motivate them because they would take that motivation as hate.
@Moon Shine Yeah Kane and Son improve a lot under Mou
Apapapiyaaaaa
Even Ronaldo
the most epic example was his inter 2009/2010
One of our greatest managers ever. Its impossible for a chelsea fan to not remember what he's done for our club.
Also I've always noticed that even in this video they tried to downplay his 2nd spell.
I feel like his 2015 league title is massively underrated. He was unbeaten from August to January and during that first half he actually played amazing attacking football. Then in the 2nd half of the season he parked the bus a bit more but that Chelsea was impressive. Fabregras. Hazard. William. Oscar. Matic.
Love the pfp bro. 👌
@@brandonayong5823 I think he played park the bus football in the 2nd half of the season cause on New Year's Day he set us up attacking against Spurs and lost 5-3 so he was more cautious
@@rohithraman6488 yeah that was the turning point
@@brandonayong5823 Shame that many of the players he trusted let him down the next season
Take me back to the days when we had national team captains filling our team
Cech (Czech Republic)
Essien (Ghana)
Shevchenko (Ukraine)
Drogba (Ivory Coast)
Ballack (Germany)
Terry (England)
Good point… shows that that Chelsea was a team of strong characters and leadership! Can’t say the same about his second stint at Chelsea and ManU esp after Terry and Drogba left
@@randomcon123 I feel that his spell at United is really disrespected by many. People laughed at him for saying finishing 2nd with the United team he had was his biggest achievement, and I think he's right. Only Sir Alex Ferguson can do better with Phil Jones and Ashley Young in defence
Ballack and Shevchenko were the only captains there.
You can add Ivanovic (Serbia) to that list as well
@@rohithraman6488 Not even Ferguson, making it to second place with that team is miraculous.

Doing absolutely everything for a manager who also trusts you, meant everything to him
That's why football sucks nowadays. His generation was the last who cared for the sport and the club.
That's the reason Mourinho couldn't succeed in Madrid, the last time at Chelsea and onwards, he can't work with snowflakes.

What an elite mentality. One that is missing from players nowadays. Honestly, people who don’t appreciate or rate Mourinho just don’t understand football. The Manager that has gotten the most stick in history and it’s so unfair.

@@pushpamsivakumar6683 Man United story brought them 3 trophies bro.. How come we didn't want it from that perspective?
😂👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I think the culture in Spurs and Man Utd is very different from Chelsea.
I can say for certain that the big man Abramovich is NOT Glazers or ENIC.
And
Man Utd had Sir Alex who had similar intensity with Mourinho. That is why they still managed to win some trophies. Because the culture is still there.
As for Spurs? Honestly I am not sure what football culture is there...
What makes a player proud to be Spurs... What identifies them...
The best I've heard is Son. Saying it is like home...
I am calling it - Jose will win either the Coppa Italia or the Conference League with Roma (or both).
Italian football suits his style but I think the game is starting to move past Jose tactics. Only sir Alex has adapted with the game in the last 40 years in Britain. Could argue that Aragones and Trapattoni also fit the description but not many have longevity for the reason they don’t change to suit the game accordingly. Jose IMO is too stubborn and I think he may fade into obscurity like Brian Clough previously. Yes it ain’t that simple and other factors are involved, but he isn’t the guaranteed win he used to be. Might be a reason Inter didn’t re apply fo his service because he was an idol there
But keep in mind that roma doesnt suit jose
Nope
@@specialperson335 maybe not. Inter were my European team growing up. C4 always showed Italian football as it was the premiership of the 90s, so for what he achieved there I loved him. Just don’t feel he is the sure thing he used to be. Never know though. May be one of they seasons where the timing is perfect. Inter will be weaker I imagine. Not sure where juve go from here and AC ain’t the team I remember them as. Atalanta are fantastic to watch but not confident in them getting enough points in games they don’t play well, which is where champions come to the fore. Napoli have fell away too. Depends on the odds but Roma might be a good wee e/w bet for title winners. What you reckon??

Guys like Zlatan, Drogba, Terry, and even players that didn’t play for him like Gerrard all have massive amounts of respect for Jose. Mourinho likes warriors, people that want to be the best, people who want to win and would do anything for a trophy and if you have that hunger then you will surely thrive under him. Thats also why when he was at spurs, guys like Kane and Son absolutely loved him. Unfortunately there’s not too many players like Terry or Gerrard anymore and that’s part of the reason why Mourinhos last two spells at Utd and Spurs didn’t reach the full potential that it could’ve.
Even messi have among respect for morinho
This was before the era of social media.. well before it was large anyway. Players would just focus on their football and nothing else. Jose is still such a great manager he just needs the right mentality of players to play for him

The Jose Mourinho praises media don't want people to see, why this isn't trending everywhere on English media outlets is beyond me, obviously the hate is real ...Jose Mourinho remains the special one forever, love him or hate him; my greatest Manager of all time ❤️
Listening to J.T talk about how Jose was with everyone from the ball boys , Medic right up the coaching staff, IN TRAINING, shows us how soft football has become these days. That incident with the Team Doctor , that became this huge media fiasco with exaggerated tales of abuse and sexism epitomized that. Jose was never the same after that , he lost just that little bit of the edge, that expressive passion that he had that made who he was. Sir Alex , Pep , Klopp , Conte and definitely Van Gaal would have reacted the exact same way but now they have to hold back , imagine commanders on a battlefield, in the heat of battle , being told that they have to mind themselves in the moment , wars would be lost and football games are no different...And this is why managers today struggle to get the best out of their players.
Football is not that important, mate.
Times have changed, mate. Coaches need to change with them.
@@jessepinkman5409 Football players need to change too. Focus more on the game than their selfies and haircuts on instagram. CR7 does both. But when he scores 30-50 goals a year he is allowed to do it. He has a strong mentality to push for himself and the others. In any case, players should change as well. It's just not coaches.

King Jose 🤴
Chelsea were touting Terry to championship clubs before Mourinho came in if you buy into his methods he'll make you WINNERS ⚽️
This is exactly right. Players have to buy in and commit to what he's asking of them. No finer example than Samuel Eto'o in Inter's 2010 Champion's League win. One of the world's best strikers, 2 time CL winner himself. Mourinho asked him to play wide on the right and he went up and down that right flank from covering his full back, to supporting the attack. Ego would have led another in that position to think it beneath his talent, but Eto'o bought in to what was asked of him and became the first (and perhaps only) player to win back to back trebles. Rafa came in and reverted him back to his striking position, but Mourinho looked at how the whole would move together, not the individual parts. I really think he is one of the greatest of all time and deserves his reputation to remain among the Pep's of history. Pep's play is innovative for sure, but he always went where there was money and success beforehand. Mourinho had no money in Portugal and (a short stint at Benfica aside) succeeded, Chelsea had money, but had not been Champions for decades before he went, Inter could do nothing in Europe despite domestic dominance, Real had not won anything for several seasons and had not made it past the last 16 in the CL for nearly a decade, he also won La Liga and set a new PTS record in a league with Pep's all conquering Barca, Chelsea were 5 seasons without a title, Man Utd he won more trophies and amassed the highest season PTS total since Sir Alex retired, a massively declining and low spending Spurs he got to a cup final and he set a record equalling start to a season for wins at Roma. Sorry, this was way longer than I intended.
