Dam these books are some of the first 40k books that hooked me seeing Eisenhower go from purist to on the fence to full blown radical was written to perfection
Me too, started with Revanor, but liked Eisenhorn better. Both were 👌
Eisenhorn isn't a radical though.
@@WardenOfTerra yet
@@WardenOfTerrahe is and he isn’t. Certainly his actions would show he is an extremist. However the circumstances which lead him to “radicalism” reveal that he is doing what he must, and he also still stands in the light.
I like how one of the most powerful daemons... is imprisoned by a old man with a book whose literally to busy to die.
Who knows what Eisenhorn is now after what happened in the Magos. Hes not a normal human thats for sure
Cherubael got glimpses of spoilers of later books and thinks that the get to many hilarious situations by staying with Eisenhorn even when he doesnt bind him tightly. He is the reason of Eosemhorns corruption
Arrived as soon as I received your vox communique .
I immediately thought of Ciaphas Cain stumbling into the exact situation he tried to avoid when I read this.
Bruh i love you your great!
Stigmatogaster just started the cain series and emperors ass is it great
@@Sanguinor_Energy Yeah it's some of my favorite stuff. Dont over do it though my friend. Make sure to read some grim dark in between his books or they'll get old fast.
Stigmatogaster oh absolutely. ive done all grim so far, im glad i got thru most the other books before starting cain
I like to imagine one day someone walks in on Eisenhorn and cherubael just playing poker. They're just there like WTF
in the stories, thats kind of how Cherubael behaves with Eisenhorns warhost. In Penitent he dies cheerfully say he is fond of them...and also that he'd love to torture them as well.
Sometimes it seems that he is being tainted by exposure to the warband, and be more...humanized
@@cthulhupthagn5771 mate spoilers I've read it but still mate. Also yeah he seems to have become more human its weird
@@UNION_JACK_THE_RIPPER I think “in the stories” and “In penitent” are both spoiler warning. So I’d give him a pass.
@@quintinbassett9467 true thats fair
@@UNION_JACK_THE_RIPPER Thanks! Plus I tried to avoid context. I hate spoilers myself
One of my favorite daemons messing around with the blanks.
Everything between 10 minutes to 6 hours, and the quality always remains just as solid 👌
Eisenhorn had become a hero of mine after I learned of his exploits and his powers; I wish he had more success in his attempts to thwart the Ruinous Powers.
The little comments this demon makes through out the books always gave me the chills. Such a creepy fck
Love the inquisitor story lines.
I still laugh thinking about what you said a bit back. "Upset about Cadia? Blame Eisenhorn."
More Eisenhorn & Quixos please!
The inquisition lore is some of best imo thanks.
I read it as Chair-u-bale. Wonderful video. Thanks!
I listened to the audiobook, so I thought it was "Jah-rube-iel"...
I like velcro on my shoes rather than laces.
Praise the machine god and blessing for the youtube algorithms to share this video
You've made my Sunday choring all the much more enjoyable. Thank you so much!!
love it, your content never disappoints
I smell... heresy... love the report style and the music ^^
As much as I love Eisenhorn
He should have just been an ordo maleus inquisitor
This time the rant was actually the best part.
I'd love to hear even a little of a rendition of Master Immus' Transgression in your style...
Very well done!
I love your end-of-video "rants"!
For shame! I've listened to this at least three times over the three years and I've never given it a thumbs up!! 🤪
Yeah.
Loved this
Thank you , Prince .
Why I was I thinking of a dead parrot...lol. awesome read as always.
Literally listening to Hereticus
Love it.
The Emperor approves of such content.
Gregor Gregor....

Quick Sauce? is that Vsauce short videos are called?...
What is the name Quixos a reference to? I do not know my literature
Another famous Inquisitor in the Eisenhorn books.
@@BarockDroneBomba Nothing from the real world? They do love using historical names
@@cthulhupthagn5771 oh, I'm not sure. I commented while the video was loading.
Dammit! Wanting to switch books... Every time I get engrossed here. Reading an omnibus of my fav char but I lose my focus.
His reactions to beta really confirmed for me she was a mary sue. Cool character. The bequin books give no background for him. Good books tho.
Funny you should say that. I've been a little split on it ever since I finished reading Pariah and then Penitent.
Yes, she is a bit of a Mary Sue. But I find myself a little forgiving of it because she's not a perfect one. She does make a few mistakes, she does get the crap knocked out of her a few times, she does fail in a few of her missions.
Additionally, a lot of her marysue style observations seem less like a true Mary Sue character and more like Dan abnett speaking through her to reprimand his creations.
After all he wrote eisenhorn and Ravenor over the course of what 15 or 20 years? And he took a very long break after riding pariah. At this point he probably has a very different plan in mind for those characters and this was the fastest way to get both of them working together.
One of the things however that does point to her being a Mary Sue is that the original cover for pariah looked very much like the old school covers ravenor and eisenhorn. The reissue covers put a very big emphasis on her - so it only makes sense I guess considering she is the main character and tells a story from first person perspective
@@cthulhupthagn5771 What made me decide she was a mary sue was her being a better inquisitor than Ravenor and Eisenhorn. Treating them lile children to boost up female blank beta that everyone loves. It played really loose with how being a pariah works. But everyone loves you if your the best. Including alpharius and blood angel with wings or a cloned primarch. Not sure. A demon loves her. The chapter shes in the palace she has a break down. All the wierd shit she has seen thats what makes her go crazy. It took me awhile to think she was bc she was raised in a MK ultra uberman cloning program. But that doesnt mean everyone likes you She rolled 20s allot. It was fun. I liked them. It just needs thunder warriors and navigators to be perfect. Ita just beta is a mary sue and reminds me of a Disney or marvel character. Almost as if a project the writes put off was asked if he had a person that he could make for future plans. Thats a strong female rey. Is Dan in that camp idk.
@@docvaliant721 not sure, but theres some balance. Blanks are often written as muted - and as blanks they dont feel supernatural dread/etc.
I do see your point tho. Its at least better done than Rey lol.
@@cthulhupthagn5771 I liked the books. I usually prefer mechanicus or rogue trader books. The outcast dead was terrible but its one of my favorite. Arik brings up do many theories. I think he was some type of proto primarch, Emperor son fertility project. He makes Crawl more possible bc Arik is able to reverse engineer thunder warriors and astartes. Beta is the hero and all of the book is her pov. She does get hurt by a sling shot lol and saved by the curse she saves as much as he saves her. The ending felt rush and it felt the mary sue beta became a different beta with her break down bc of seeing clones. Do you think Constatine Valdor is a missing primarch? Seems allot of effort to put the 119 and missing primarch stuff to just throw it out. Wasted allot of chapters on the crazy math guy for that to be silly. Is that red thirst blood angel guy that the mary sue said chill and he was her bf a primarch clone of sanguines?
Quixos was right!
🍻🍺👍🏻
I thought it was pronounced chair a bell.
Eisenhorn didnt defeated his inner demons
He enslaved them
#quixosdidnothingwrong
They keep these books, not destroy them?

Eisenhorn TV show, really?
Spoiler alert!........ "you don't know that".......... could be........ !
Reply with your favorite black library book or author. Devastation of Baal for me. It’s a masterpiece. Darkness in the blood, four chapters in I want to gouge out my eyes and have my orbitals scrubbed like The manperor does in TTS. Maybe it will get better but Mephiston is an absolute bore. His only redeeming quality is Abaddon will kill him. Then Dante will clap golden eyes’ cheeks. On another note, why o why do Black legion have the eye of Horus on their armor. Looks cool makes no sense. Eye of terror, would make no sense. Eye from Mordor makes no sense but it wouldn’t be counterintuitive
Why did you pronounce it "cherubEAl" and not "cherubAEl"?
