I just started reading the Farsight novels lately, and I'd seen those two character frozen in temporal stasis in one chapter. That's so cool they got their own short story that told us what happens. Cool stuff!

@@Haiphong778 You might also want to read the short story "The Battle of Blackthunder Mesa" which takes places in the middle of that novel and documents Commander Bravestorms origin story. Also, for completionist sake, try reading the Novella, "Farsight" by Phil Kelly. It documents a large part of the Arkunasha War and Farsight's early career as a commander. Sidenote, this novella actually retcons Andy Chambers's short story "The Arkunasha War"

One day I’d like to see a moment where Tau kick someone’s ass instead of getting massacred. I do like this though because we get to see it from Tau perspective. Great work man!

A fish and a chapter master were both trapped in a stasis field. They were being displayed as an art piece.
I find the books and stories about the imperium boring after awhile. But i enjoy the imperium in small doses, in other species' stories :)

@@tonypecoraro9220 taros campaign the imperium lost 3 titans, lost 6 company of marines, 2 entire guard regiments, 6 ships (3 were just large transport ships) and the mining world of taros. Then left after being beaten. They then would lose an entire system to the tau in the psychic awakening series. The imperium exist solely off of hype

Good story but I still wish one of the big players would just stomp the Tau out of existence. They have more luck/plot armor than Failbadon the Harmless.
I don't. People want to say Tau aren't the good guys, be cause of their mind control pheromones and they ultimately bid to control the universe like everyone else, I love their underdog aura, a budding shiny new tech empire, learning it's continuing insignificance in a monsoon of Gore and horror, trying to win a technological arms race against the literal unknown. I think it has so much interesting potential
Because everytime the imperium, chaos, Tyranids, or even the necrons they failed. Either by the taus better military or master diplomats

Just think about all those water caste tau that he got to kill before being stopped. That will make you want to like the story.
