I'm listening in the dark with headphones, and the moment when their supply column got attacked, it took me right back to when I was in Iraq, one of our convoys got hit in the middle of a sandstorm, out of nowhere, roadside, it flipped us sideways... Anyway I just wanted to say well done, you've _nailed_ the feeling here. This channel's rapidly becoming one of my favourites.

i didn't think that I'd like imperium vs tau stories grom the imperial perspective, as i generally see the tau as much more just and logical + the fact that the tau aren't some galactic horror, but thia was really awesome and proper scary!
Their transport got destroyed by a tau gun ship. I found the music on CZcams if I remember rightly, wouldn't be able to tell you exactly where though, as it was a while ago now. I think I basically typed 'free middle Eastern music'
“The Imperial Infantrtman’s Uplifting Primer” is a publication produced by the Black Library probably about a decade or more ago. I lifted the text of of verbatim for this story. They’re reading from a GW certified canon publication.
@DaveTheCrowe then GW don't have a clue how to write a scale A guide to warefare and moral. If you're having to lie to troops in the field you're too late. The lies need to be made before they're even in the military. That's my take as a veteran in real life.

I got to admit the inaccurate information about enemy xenotes in the primer seems like almost on the edge of between propaganda and outright satire. It's almost like the imperial guard officers are trying to get their soldiers intentionally killed by giving them incorrect are outright false information about anything basic and general useful To their soldiers for fighting
Something quite similar could be found back in the day of world wars, were enemies capabilities were belittled and own forces and gear were praised to be superior in all ways, saying otherwise would've been unpatriotic.
I was given an Imperial Infantryman’s uplifting primer as a birthday gift once and it inspired this piece. I concluded that Morale is the only purpose of this book. To both embolden the uninformed and to inspire the war-weary with an alternative to sceptical defeatism. Faith in something higher is the only thing that can raise a man from dwelling on his own hopeless state. Morale is key to victory. Without it there is no Hope. Hadj cant believe the lies any more than Stilgar can but he chooses faith over despair. And which of these men do you want in your army?
The only thing I would like to see different in your videos would be changing images every 2 minutes maybe. Other than that your storie telling can draw me in like no one I've ever listened to.
I get lost in the story thanks to the voice acting. Editing could smooth it out between cuts. But I assume said actor does everything, so it is more of an aspiration towards perfection than it is a criticism. Can't be a natural at that as well, gotta leave some for the rest of'em.
