Just wanted you to know how much I appreciate these audio books. I usually use them to sleep and get some information about the 40k universe before napping. Some interesting dreams come from it too haha.

I love these! Though I'd played 40K for 5-6 years when this first came out, Let the Galaxy Burn was my first five into the deeper lore of the setting.

My phone's notification sound is from a WH40k game. The time is 0345 in the morning. I'm sneaking towards my bedroom, and the brief time that it takes me to go from the kitchen through the main hallway, where noise is easily propagated, my phone sounded off.
In the middle of the night, a Space Marine shouted "OBJECTIVE LOGGED" right next to the door where other people sleep behind....

Realisticly, If a company started losing a commisar or two, the military brass would probably open up an investigation. And the last thing you want is attention in the WH40k universe.
In fact, that might even become a short story in the future from GW. A company who fragged their first commissar, and then their second commissar legitemtly was killed in action. And now everyone is horrified when an inquistor accomopanies the new replacement commissar.
@@ADayintheLifeoftheTw chaos would likely be the outcome of that investigation aka extermination.

@@ABorderPrince One of the more interesting lines I have heard in your narrations of these books goes something like this, "The guard pulled out his clip and saw that he had half a mag left."
I think that may have actually caused brain hemorage!
Or scenes with no context of where the enemy is or what they are doing, especially in this one. And since when do they fly in a single squad of catachans instead of regiments. I just don’t really like this one
@@antonioliles5027 its possible though. He pulls out a clip for a funky lasgun pattern, and has half a shattered boltpistol mag in the other hand
Well, considering the many patterns of lasguns it is possible though. Heresy era missile lauchers also use clips
