- DESCRIPTION
Victoria Police Constables Steven Tynan and Damian Eyre’s night shift started on October 11, 1988, at 11:00 pm. Call sign ‘Prahran 311', it had been a shift of routine policing for the pair; a domestic dispute, noisy parties, a drunk in Fitzroy Street, a pub assault on Chapel Street, a smashed shop window, and two activated security alarms…

I'm 2 years late leaving comments... I've got to say that since coming across your channel recently, I've become addicted to your stories! Not only are you accustomed to and narrate these cases with such perfection, also I am out in the story as if I am in a movie myself picturing and feeling everything that you are telling the listener. These cases maybe Horrific and Tragic but boy! You really know how to knock em out! Thankyou!
I'm 2yrs after you, so don't feel too bad, incredible story
@@IrishMountainGoat47😂
I'm another 2 years late in liking your comment, 😮
Wow! That was flawless, over the years watching on tv and listening about the Walsh st murders, I couldn’t quite get the whole story til now but you uncovered the whole story, thank you, keep up the great work! 👍🏻
I remember when this happened but I did not know the whole story. how bloody sad.
Something like the Walsh Street event would have been more appropriate if they had happened dozens of times during the sca m demic, when Australia turned into the kind of law enforcement state that would have made the National social ist Germany blush.
WOW! Quite the band of close knit, malignant evildoers, degenerate to the core, right down to sleeping with each others wives. You usually don't see that depth of depravity without some degree of inbreeding! Fascinating, intricate case, excellently researched and authored, presented with your usual riveting intensity. Thanks for another stellar episode.
No doubt the police were and still are inbreed, proper sheeple just like yourself.
This story had me all ears the entire time. Sounded like scenes from a movie or something.
I been binging you at work the past couple days. Keep up the great content! 👍
Thank you for listening!
@jase gtree I'll look out for that, thanks.
It’s in a movie, they based the Aussie movie ‘Animal Kingdom’ off the Walsh Street murders.
@@CasefileTrueCrimePodcast not guilty they were
How could Jensen operate or even aim a bolt .22 sawn off rifle while trying to drive away from the cops????
At full speed they say
That poor jury made the right decision. So complex and not enough proof. I think everybody was dirty, the criminals and the cops. Very confusing and very well covered
Detectives, Force Command, and the Government.
That was fascinating. The level of research is incredible. Thankyou for all your hard, diligent work.
I've heard of Victor Pierce and his criminal family members, his older half brother, Dennis Allen was known as one of the most dangerous drug dealer and killer in Melbourne, the man who was changing a record on Allen's record player when Allen shot him was Allen's friend, Wayne Stanhope
The late former standover man, Mark "Chopper" Read believed that Allen killed Stanhope, because Stanhope made the mistake of telling Allen that he visited Chopper Read while he was in Pentridge as years earlier, Dennis Allen was in Pentridge when he was bashed by Chopper Read with a rolling pin.
The woman that Allen killed by drowning was an associate of Allen, 30-year-old prostitute and addict, Helga Wagnegg, her murder occurred a few months after Stanhope's murder on the 12th November 1984.
The "body part" that Victor Pierce used to "chase" Wendy Pierce with, was a dismembered leg belonging to former President of the Hells Angels Nomad Chapter, Anton Kenny who Allen shot and killed at Allen's home on the 7th November 1985.
In that murder, Allen was paid by Kenny's former associates within the Hells Angels to kill Kenny after Kenny was thrown out for speaking with the police.
So many bodies and not a single person was held accountable. This story honestly sounds like something that would happen in like Gotham or something, where you never really know who the good guy is. Just an insane story
Also, just a note: I’m here in 2023 and can’t find a single thing about the inquest they were supposed to do in 2021
I just wanted to add one more thing, I truly appreciate how you stayed unbiased during this whole episode. I’ve barely started looking up this case and I can already tell that it has a lot of one sided reporting and I just REALLY appreciate the casefile team for going deeper and trying to show both sides (also idk if you’ll ever read this but I really hope someone from the team does and just know how appreciated they are❤️)
Because in reality, there aren't clear lines between sides. Cops are self-policed for the most part and are just a microcosm of society.
Cops are a hair's breadth away from each being criminals and can easily slip across the lines so innocently at first... i can list so many cases like this.
@lareinabrown Sadly, that may never happen. Corruption runs very deep!
What a story! Incredibly horrific and heartbreaking, but so very well presented with the facts of the cases and the individuals and families involved.
It's wild to me that a 22 year old already had 3 years on the job. I know this was back the day but still, 19 is young for that job.
Well Wendy: people won't believe you're sorry, because you know (deep in your cold, cruel heart) you're not.
So well read. Thorough, and the background music is not too loud and seems perfect for the story. I have now subscribed to this channel.
Vicpol brought all this on
Great case. Thanks.
Massive case in Melbourne
Thank you, love this channel
It was my father's car that the police died in that day, and it changed all of our lives.
how terrible!!!
I thought they died in the ambulance and then in hospital? I must’ve missed something - maybe there’s another incident going to happen as I’m not even half way in
@@Jolenesmart1980 No you're right but he was being general in the way stated what happened. They got shot and basically died in the car. The actual site of where they expired is kinda immaterial.
@@Jolenesmart1980what a petty little twat you are
How tf was Abdullahs killer found not guilty. 5 shots in the back, 1 to the back of the head and witness testimony of someone hearing abdullah say "I'm not doing anything".
He was most definitely executed.
Awesome version bro, sweet Real Aussie accent .
Ahh the 80s what a decade !
Can you tell me why there were these vicious criminal gangs in Australia at that time?
The laws are so weak. All those criminals should have been in prison for their previous crimes.
Thanks , another great podcast
KEEP it going
Great Podcast. Love Them All.
1:06:40 - neighbours heard “I’m not doing anything” and “I hope so” they fucking murdered him!!!!! - I hope they got sacked and arrested
Vicpol brought this to themselves very corrupt and murders at the time
I agree poor garry
You would have to ask the coroner the same question?
Brilliant I enjoy all of your post
What a lovely bunch of individuals
Has there been any documentaries on the case? One of my fav episodes, keep up the good work. Aussie is a fascinating place.
Yeah on CZcams type it in
Absolute tragedy.
Can’t believe they tore down her house when she had young kids think of the kids!!!
But what's this video about? I've read the description, so it's just a routine night for the police officers? Bit confused by this. I didn't watch
So you need a summary of every video you want to watch in order to actually watch something and come to your own damn conclusion? Are you intellectually inferior to everyone else or...?
And you're confused? Just watch the damn video. It's a true crime channel, unless you're too stupid to know that, too.
It was a routine night, until they arrived on the scene (after getting reports of a car parked in the middle of the road) and were both shot and killed.
Not guilty!!!
Hell hath no wrath like a woman scorned.
that's not the saying
The Narator is either a copper or does not live in Melbourne.
Hey Wendy ,sow the wind....
I love a good Aussie crime story. This should be dramatised like Underbelly.
Has been
@@evolveausevolveaus what's the name, is it on YT?
Not by Underbelly. Watch the miniseries 'Killing Time' about the lawyer who represented the Walsh Street killers and got them acquitted.
Elizas mother was a wiman of faith. And vieed she would never firgive the daughter's killer.
Sounds about right for a catholic.
They hold grudges like nobody's business.
Who owned the car.??
It was stolen
Hell of a case this is but it was defo tit for tat and the police started it!
100%
Yep!!
@cynthiaholland13 corrupt detectives and corrupt officers!
So dirty Coppers win again!
Well, I've listened to just about all your stuff or a very good part of it. Fifty-seven thousand views in five years on a piece of this quality is an insult, I've gotten more on the first day before I became the most censored man on the internet. I can't even tell you my pen name or the AI will pick it up and delete the comment. This guy Pierce was the same age as me and no doubt my Australian doppelganger, cept he's already in Valhalla and I'm not, yet. In our defense these people making these comments defending corrupt cops and maligning a hero who stood up to them are the very same people, who watched their twelve-year-old daughters be beaten in the street for not wearing her mask by their heroes in blue as they bent over stoically to be injected with self-assembling nano platforms five years ago. Without the wolves the sheep breed themselves to death and it seems to me that is just what happened in Australia, America too don't get me wrong, but we still have our guns, for now. I don't understand why you continue to back the status quo while CZcams and Patreon sodomize you, but I guess some people just like it that way. You are the best I've ever seen at what you do but unfortunately, I can never recommend you with your attitude. Good luck anyway, it's been an enjoyable month of bingeing on you, but I have to get back to work. Maybe someday you'll have a crack at the Amityville Horror murders but be careful what you say, remember Butchy did it...
👏👏👏
Brilliantly done thank you 🙏 I have no moans on this one where you say a or the randomly lol sorry you did it again 49:40 A Jason 🤦🏼♀️
