What kind of sick, disgusting family would support a degenerate husband, son in law and brother in law who SA'd his young sister in law, impregnated her and then refuse to believe he killed her after he said he would do just that? Poor Rayna never had a chance with a fu**ed up family such as hers. I'm so disgusted, repulsed and outraged. CPS should have removed her from the entire family of ingrates. What a horrible way to treat your sister and daughter. As far as I'm concerned they are as culpable in her demise as her wicked and perverted brother in law. Rest in peace, dear Rayna.

How can you stay married to a man that assaulted your own sister??? This is sick in more ways than I can say!

@CB Cordovitz...the narrator said that at the time of Rayna's disappearence, the brother-in-law had not long since been released from a 3 year prison sentence for the ongoing molestation of a minor...that minor being Rayna.

I'm amazed that there were so many people protecting Jason, even with the $36,000 prize for tips, it's utterly nearly unbelievable.

What the fuck? The CONVICTED CHILD RAPIST was allowed to wander around and interact with his victim freely? AFTER HE HAD MADE DIRECT THREATS TO HER LIFE?? And the absolute failure of a sister was perfectly okay with her husband literally raping and impregnating a child? This case is fucked up in so many ways.

Believe it or not, Cops aren't actually allowed to do whatever they want without any actual evidence, they actually have to build a solid case to take to Court, DA's like to win their cases cause y'know, it's their job so if you don't got the evidence, they ain't gunna move forward, if they do then they run the risk of granting prime suspects the protection of double jeopardy making it insanely hard to get a prosecution in the future.

I am absolutely enraged by this. Why would the sister stay with her BIL monster. He should have been in jail for sexually abusing her for years not just in probation. Then how do people keeps secrets so long and are willingly involved in covering up a murder. Telling lies to give him a accomplice.

Police will tell you that the most potentially dangerous unpredictable calls they answer are domestic disturbances. Very often one person, usually the woman, can be literally beaten bloody and when the officers arrest them or in more severe instances, have to use physical violence or deadly force, they are attacked by the person they are trying to help. I am originally from a town in Connecticut called Milford. Many years ago there was a domestic incident where a husband had beaten his wife to a pulp and was about to kill her with a knife when the police arrived. The officers ordered the man to drop the knife and surrender several times before he charged at them and they were forced to shoot him. Immediately after that the woman started screaming why did you do that why did you kill him and attempted to physically assault the officers. Given that police officers are trained in hand to hand combat and have a veritable Batman utility belt at their disposal and they are still very leery of domestic disturbances you can kind of understand why people don't get involved. That and sadly we live in a very selfish, complacent society today.
