Great progress! Unless you like the curly ends, you can braid her ends to keep from unraveling. Do a little at a time.

Did you start the roots by braiding or interlocking of some other kind? She’s very pretty
I braided the roots down about 5-6 times then I 2 strand twisted the rest. & thanks so much 💗✨

Just found out that micro locks exist so now idk what to choose should I get sister locks or micro locks hard to choose
Omgg yess ! I say do more research on both. Sister locks are much much smaller than microlocs and HAS to be installed by a professional, while microlocs can be installed by you or professional and doesn’t have a specific grid or anything.

How long do we keep retwisting the loose ends?
You don’t have to retwist the ends if you don’t want, it’s optional. You can leave them and just have curly ends. I’ve only retwisted the ends once.

@@creolejazz I wanna do 3 strand installation from the root on me and my daughter...Searching all over for microlocs that were installed that way and their progress,like if they get volume and have curly ends like the 2 strand twists. Would you know?
@@wanjirui.gitimu3059 I honesty haven’t seen microlocs installed with 3 strand twist either ! But I do know it depends on your hair. Maybe you should do a trial and install some temporary 3 strand twist for about 2 or 3 weeks to see.
