- In todays video, I am laying down my oldest daughters(Mariah) Microloc Grid for her microlocs…. YES I did take out her traditional locs because that is what she wanted. I didn’t feel the need to show that process because it didn’t really need to comb out the Locs, just take out the two strand twist.
Just in case anyone says anything negative lol save it ! I know kids change their minds…. ANYONE can change their mind not just a child. But if she does, microlocs aren’t permanent and I WILL take the time to comb them out if that is what she wants ✨
We will be maintaining with the 2 point rotation & I will film that process of her first retie !! Stay tuned for Part 2 of her Microlocs Installation 🌱

@@creolejazz My baby loves my hair (I have locs) but hasn’t explicitly asked for them. I want to put them in her hair sooo bad but I’m nervous she’ll be upset with me later. Do you have any advice or anything for this type of situation
Awwww, I would say do whatever you think is best for HER. Your her mother u know best. The main thing that always calms me is the fact that they can be combed out. So as long as your think you have patience for that or find someone to do that IF she ever chooses to change her mind, I say DO IT. I think that statement can work both ways, she could be upset they weren’t started sooner lol. This is my girls 6th or 7th loc set ! Each time I combed them out and started them in a different way so them changing their minds is never a problem for me.
& you can also do a TRIAL SET, by just putting the desired size locs in her hair for a while and if she is lovingggg them that’s your answer 🌱✨🤗 I hope this helps!

I just went with it lol after creating the different sections, parting the microlocs was easy.

Most definitely! I still do & it hasn’t caused any problems. I just use it once every 2-3 weeks.

Well I’m 26 lol & you may be talking about sister locs. These are not sisters, they are diy microlocs. You don’t have to be certified or anything to do these
