This was such a HUGE sign for me! I live in Atlanta and fell in love with the exact same stylist when I started researching Microlocs! I’m strongly considering going to this stylist for my Microlocs too! It’s definitely a huge maintenance financial decision, so I’m going to give it time to think about. ☺️ thank you for this video!

I’m actually considering getting micro locs. I think they are so pretty! I’d also like to try something new that doesn’t require as much maintenance as being a wash and go girly. Also, I have a question. What happens after your install? When you wash your hair do the twists begin to unravel?

How cool. Your hair reminds me of my hair. I’m wearing mini twist but I just redo them every now and again so they won’t loc.
If I had more patience, I would’ve done micro twists at some point too! They’re gorgeous 😍

Yes your hair looks beautiful. I have alopecia, so I have to watch a lot of things that I do to my hair. I wish my hair would grow out without certain parts of it balding. I would love to get micro locs, Being is though a long time ago I had dreads. But I love dying my hair I mean is something about me and dye my hair I just can’t stop. My haircut very short and when it grows out a little bit, I just dye it. my alopecia is not as worse as some others. It’s only in one specific area, but I tried to work with the area as much as possible where it kind of grows a little bit and some people can’t tell unless I really show them where my alopecia is.
I used to keep my hair cut short all of the time, there’s nothing wrong with that! ❤ I also dealt with significant balding at one point as well so I understand wanting to be gentle with your hair ✨ thanks for tuning in!

I traveled down to Maryland to get mine installed. I wasn’t able to find a loctician in Philly to do my locs the way I wanted them (initially went for loc extensions) 🤍
