All those morals and behaviours that you refer to is in the Quran. Surah luqman talks about not to be overally boastful, the verse after 19 says be moderate in your pace and lower your voice and is against yelling loudly. There is another verse I don’t know in the top of my head it’s like someone greet you greet them with something better. In surah Al mumenon verse 3 it says the importance to stay away from I’ll speech. Another verse says do not ridicule other believers. It seems as if you think only the Hadith talks about the good manners. But if you focused on Quran and only on Quran I’m sure you would be much more knowledgeable of the Quran

From an Islamic standpoint, there’s no debate. Islam is the Quran and the Sunnah. No eloquent speech can get around that. Without the Sunnah Islam becomes a “do as you feel” religion like Christianity.

Its interesting because even in the bible , the companions of Jesus Pbuh asked him to teach them how to pray the same was John Pbuh taught his own followers how to pray, these companions were Israelites who followed the law of moses and already understood how to pray , yet because of the new prophet they asked , even tho aware of how the old messengers prayed in the Torah. The same was Mohammed Pbuh teaching his own followers how to pray. Every prophet had their own but similar way of praying to their same God.

He is not logical at all. He can not translate zhe quran just by taking a dictionary and look at the words and know what is really ment by it.

None Arab, Quranist relies on English translation which was translated by Arabs and we believe most of the translation are correct except only a few.

But Allah severel times said that the Quran was revealed in Arabic, does Allah say void things? No. So to understand the Quran fully you should know Arabic. Likewise if u have a book in Chinese u should know the Chinese language to understand it fully. You can not rely on a translation only, bcs a translation is according to the understanding of the translator.

I have to say though when I became a Muslim, I didn’t know any Muslims at all and this is 30 years ago, but I found the translation of the Quran and I read that and that made me a Muslim actually Allah guided me to Islam but my point is the Quran can guide the people even the English translations it’s Allah, who gives Hidayah so I became a Muslim without knowing anything about the Sunnah or even knowing a Muslim, I didn’t even know how to make the shahada, But I believed. I know the Sunnah is an integral part of Islam that allows someone to understand and practice Islam , to his best ability, but in my journey in Islam, I’ve seen the Muslims are far more familiar with Hadith than they are with the Quran specially in the western societies, and unfortunately, in these times vast majority of the Muslims, have actually misrepresented the purpose and the difference between Hadith and Sunna, it’s clear Hadith and Sunnah are not the same,.. true Hadith support the Sunnah but they are not the Sunnah within themselves. The Muslims know today more about fiqh then they do about Quran ayaat on purifying the heart, which is the purpose of the Quran.

I understood the context he was talking about straight away...meaning the verses refer to a specific incident when the prophet and idol worshippers from mecca entered into a peace treaty, and Allah is laying down the rules of engagement...telling the muslims to uphold the peace unless they break it first...then fight them etc. etc.
Context if very important as well as interpretation, and Ahmed is very well spoken if only the unruly mob let him speak.

Those who refuse hadiths are they not trusting the one who transmitted them to us? If this is the case, then they want an entrance to reject the Qur’an in the future for the same argument .. because those who transmitted the Qur’an, collected it and wrote it, are the Companions, and they are the ones who transmitted the hadiths to us as well.

How many times do they go back and forth between al-Safa and al-Marwah?

@Koba If you knew anything about preservation of hadith you'll know that the SAME people narrated hadith that narrated Quran to us. Why do you think that the Quran is preserved? Because Allah says so but the method Allah used was through oral transmission by trustworthy people, the same people narrated hadith, so why believe one and not the other? By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, my nation will split into seventy-three sects, one of them is in Paradise and seventy-two are in the Hellfire.” It was said, “O Messenger of Allah, who are the ones in Paradise?” The Prophet said, “The united community.”

From my understanding, in order to succeed in this world and in the hereafter, you need to combine the Quran, along with the teachings of the Sunnah (learnt from reliable Hadiths). Remember, the salat rakats were not detailed in the Quran, but we learnt through Hadith. The Sahaba (companions of the Prophet) are also wonderful for knowledge and insight.
I also like to keep in mind that each time a prophet was sent to humanity from Allah, they were not given a book, no, but word of mouth and actions. In order to get onto the path that Allah wants, you need to study the words that came out of the mouths of the prophets and also study their actions. The teachings Allah conveyed to Abraham, Moses and Jesus (peace be upon them all) have been corrupted because their enemies exploited the lack of Sunnah. However, the teachings, words and actions of the final prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) have been preserved by the Sunnah. It’s the combination of both Quran and Sunnah that will teach you the most knowledge and insight into Islam, in my humble opinion.

One who follows Quran only not hadiths. I think sunnah in Arabic means "practices" whereas hadiths means "event."

Dont be fooled brother. No verse time dependant but rather the Quran is Universal and for all times. We can derive lessons from every single ayah in the quran which means it is and will forever be relevant. That would necessitate that no ayah is time dependant but rather its universal which makes the Quran unlike anything else. May Allah (SWT) forgive us for our mistakes.

Even in the hikmah (the wisdom) we actually have a saheeh hadith that prophecised the Quraniyoon (those who only accept the Qur'an and deny the ahaadith)

Lets say for arguments sake im a Quranist. Why would i not be interested in first hand eye witnesses reports?
How did the people understood the prophet? How did they understand the Quran?
