Wow. I reverted to this religion, and I was never confused here regarding Hadith. How are these people so confused. If God grants you wisdom, why do we need Prophets? Christians have the same belief, that some holy spirit can guide them, without actually following the footsteps and wisdom of their prophet. Their guidance is subjective.
guidance in the previous scriptures are not complete and which was revealed was changed for whatever reason or agenda they had....but there is still some truth in these scriptures...they are not completely corrupted.

funny enough, also in the quran, Allah tells us to follow Allah and to follow the prophet, so part of this guidance is following the prophet, how do you follow the prophet? though his his actions and what the prophet peace be upon him told us to do.

use a bit of logic, and actually read the quran fully rather than doing what those who fight islam do. with no context, taking specific exerpts rather than the whole info.

If we accept the above interpretation of 5:19, we would immediately run into what seems like a Quranic contradiction. To demonstrate this, we need to read the following verses:
Sura 75
16- Do not move your tongue with it (O Muhammad) to hasten it.
17- Indeed, upon Us is its collection and its recitation.
18- Once We recite it, you shall follow such a recitation.
19- Then upon Us is its explanation.
The underlined words in verse 19 assert it is God, and not the messenger, who teaches and explains the meaning of the Quran in the hearts of the guided ones. The same truth that it is God who explains the Quran is given in the following words:
Al-Rahman taught the Quran. 55:1-2
Further confirmation of the above is found in the Quranic assurance that the only duty of the messenger is to deliver the message of God (Quran) to the people:
The sole duty of the messenger is the delivery, and God knows what you reveal and what you conceal. 5:99
O you messenger, convey what was brought down to you from your Lord. If you do not, then you have not delivered His message. 5:67
If God made it clear to the messenger that the explanation of the Quran lies on God (75:19), then why is God instructing the messenger to "yubbayyin" (interpreted as: to explain) to the people?
As we know, there are no contradictions in the Holy Quran. The apparent contradiction can be eliminated when we use Quranic evidence to determine the correct meaning of the command to "yubbayyin" in 5:19.
The key verse which provides us with this clarification is the following:
God took a covenant from those who received the Scripture: "You shall 'tubayinunnahu' (make it clear) to the people, and not conceal it." 3:187
The words in 2:213 tell us that God revealed the Scripture to His prophets. Therefore, the words "those who received the Scripture" in 3:187 refer to the prophets of God, one of whom is prophet Muhammad.
The importance of 3:187 is that not only does it use the same verb "yubbayyin", but it also provides us with the antonym of "yubbayyin". The antonym given by God in 3:187 for "yubbayyin" is "conceal".

Whoever called brother Ali was arrogant was surely missing lots of awareness. Multiple time Br. Ali corrected him about miss quoting the Qur'an, and this man just shrug it off like it was nothing. He read the Qur'an just four times and yet so sure about his interpretation and didn't budge even provided with evidence from the Qur'an and even assistance in Arabic Language. Arrogance is rejecting the truth once presented.
Agree with Ali completely, but he needs to learn some ethics of debate. He kept intejecting, but the thing even more painful to watch was that he contineously kept berating and taunting the guest. He needs to bring maturity and humility in his methods

When ego is mixed with ignorance and luck of knowledge, its hard to have conversations with someone with faulty logic. Emotional reasoning and conformational bias is at work with this brother, one needs to have humility and stay quiet when one does not know much on the principal of Islamic Jurisprudence. @@azataliking8302the problem i find with that point is allah tells us to follow the sunnah of the Prophet, how else would we do so? If you say the Quran, we as muslims are told to follow the quran regardless so it wouldn't make sense for the quran to repeat itself in that regard. If you look at the methodology and qualifications of hadith it is absolutely something dependable. The reason why you even know thst certain hadith are fabricated is because of the system of hadith which points out which ones are Daif. Allah tells us that obeying the messenger is to obey Allah.

The guy Ali is debating is misquoting the Qu'ran.
He's rejecting one side of Hadith because 'men are fallable' but he isn't doing the same for the Torah or the Bible.

Rejecting Hadith is not at all rejecting the Qur’an. That is a very weak argument. Obeying the Rasul doesn’t mean you jump right into having to obey the hadith books.
Reject certain Hadith doesn’t mean rejecting the Quran but rejecting all Hadith 100% makes you reject the Quran because they are both from the same origin

The Quran was written down and recited at the time of the prophet. Hadiths were canonized only a few hundred years ago.

I swear this is a crazy admission. “If you accept hadith so long as it is consistent with quran”. This means you reject hadith, because that would make it redundant.
However, the opposite is a bigger problem! If you accept hadith that add new directives, that contradict the message of the quran, then you are claiming a new quran, written by men in the form of hundreds of books, with hundreds of thousands of revelations!
SubhanAllah 4:113 Al:Hikmah i just did read. Alhamdullilah Allah gave prophet s.a.v knowledge, which is prophets sunnah s.a.v ( hadith ). I actually like the Akhlak/Manners of the Quranist still and he's genuine and seems to rly be searching for the truth but is in a complex conflict. Inshallah he'll understand the truth and see that Hadith is also part of the revelation. Quranists generally blow my mind and each has their own explanation lolol
