Great stuff Spencer. Keep it up!
Thanks Spencer. I need all the help I can get - I have heard people talk about ND filters - you just explained in ordinary language what they were - and showed them in action. Yay! And you also made dynamic range clear by comparing it to film - now it's clearer to me what a good number or less good number is and why - again clearly explained. Appreciate your help.
Great content. I hope you make more videos! I would love to see an analysis of using PTZ in a church setting. I was looking at the Pocket Cinema as potentially a future camera for our church, but PTZ will be simpler for volunteer operators and provide flexibility.
Thanks Chad! PTZ definitely has advantages in operation and placement, but at the cost of image quality and flexibility. If you go PTZ, creating video content outside of streaming is much more difficult, so it depends on your context and strategy. I’ll look into a PTZ review soon!
Hi Spencer, great content. Would like to see what setting you use on the BMPCC 6K Pro for church live stream. Also, how do you go about creating the lut for your live stream. Thanks
Hi Elmer, I use the Ext. Video LUT most of the time as a base. Then correct based on the room lighting. But there are some great LUTs you can buy/download to take things to the next level if you want
Good video ,how is the autofocus
The same as all other BMD Pocket Cinema cameras- requires manual focusing
I need a lens for the blackmagic 6k pro, for video in a church, at a distance of 20 meters, what lens do you recommend, please 🙏
24-105mm is a good start. Download my Gear Guide for a complete list of lenses and other options, link in description
Hey I know this might be a silly question but what tripods are y’all using for those bmpcc 6k? Just ordered one but need to find out what tripod to pair it with haha
I personally use the Manfrotto 290Xtra with Fluid Head for most everything and love it. You can go bigger though if you don’t plan on transporting it much
@@ProfitandPixels awesome thanks man! Thanks for responding! Keep up the good work with these videos, helped me out a ton with redoing our livestream setup
What are good run and gun cameras for churches?
Panasonic GH5, Sony a6000 series or A7s
Hello
Great video and info - thank you. Just have to say as a matter of conscience- Before purchasing, please ask your pastor if he is OK with having a product called BLACK MAGIC. I am pretty certain most pastors are out of the loop on these purchases and would prefer a similar product that doesn’t have a flat out godless name. Remember that we serve to honor Jesus. Even in the small things.
I guess I don’t think words have magic power. Plus you get to redeem all that unholy technology, what a mission!
Honestly, if you believe this, you also need to stop using all Apple products, and probably every other tech company as well. Why stop with Black Magic Design?
