Ja Ja Ding Dong is becoming the most popular song in Iceland, no joke. Some DJ's over there are getting a request for Ja Ja Ding Dong four to five times a night. Which does not surprise me at all.

LOL!! that you just realized the suggestive nature of the lyrics. We watch most TV and movies with CC now so the sexual innuendos were immediately obvious and hilarious. And there's nothing like broadcasting your sexual frustrations to a roomful of people by repeatedly shouting "Play Ja Ja Ding Dong!!!" It was also funny when Lars asks "Do you want to hear our Eurovision song?" and the crowd shouts "No!" whereas at home I was saying "Oh Yes! Yes! Please Yes!"
Rest assured I'm an avowed fan of ding dongs; they're just not my favorite Eurovision jam.

Could anyone really not get the one entirely not subtle context of this song?! William?! Also agree with Deban that the guy and really the whole audience has sexual frustration. This is a town of fisherman after all- that’s very much a normal stereotype
Why sexual frustration? Why not unresolved trauma from the male upon the feminine and innocent. Anyway I LOVE this humour and movie 😍🤗
