It still blows my mind that of all the actors in this movie, they were like, "yeah, let's use Will Ferrel's real voice" and yet it totally works!
The way he belted seriously shows the respect for this song along. One of the things that proves his comedic timing is on point. :)
For sure! I think it would have been waaaay to obvious if they used someone else's voice.

And no one is arguing the point! Like..who are these "a lot of people"? A mere blip on the screen, if that much. The movie was a gift at the perfect time.
Exactly this is the spirit of Eurovision. It doesn't matter which sexual identity, orientation, nationality, skin color, religion or body fit people have. ESC is a fight for human rights presented as a big celebration for everybody.
To be fair, the degeneracy is getting quite high in the Eurovision. They definitely should tone it down a notch.

Truly a feel,good film
@Sea Bro It wasn't horrible it's just very far from what Eurovision actually is like
@Sea Bro It is a comedy my friend. With some strange fairies involved...
I totally agree, this movie is pure awesomeness!
I love how they have tried to make all the fictive entries over the top and still it feels like believable entries.
I mean, Lemtovs entire could very well be a Russian song, the Swedish song is a technically perfected and polished number, as it always is, we have a Lordi clone and a typical Greek song.
I also love how the Icelandic broadcasting station is actually trying to win the completion when I’m real life they don’t want to win. And that is portrayed in the bad guy played by one of my favorite Swedish actors.
But the absolute highlight of the movie is the part in this clip, it blew my mind and filled at least a part of the void that the cancelled Eurovision left in my heart.
I come back and watch this occasionally. It never fails to make me smile. I marvel at the past Eurovision winners and participants and how diverse they are. It's just a beautiful thing.

Yeah right, with 3 out 5 songs being American and the whole representation of Eurovision beinh completely amerocanized and dumbed down
Lana Stanisic The festival has become Americanized by itself. Most countries, except Spain, Italy, UK and sometimes France and Portugal, sing all pop songs in English. It was not like that years ago, it’s sad what we’ve become.

Then we googled all the singers in this song and throughout the movie and we were blown away by the talent of Eurovision.

When i was watching i just thought "Where's Loreen" then she comes on the screen and im like "YEAAAAHHH!!"
This movie was sooo freaking good!!! I did not expect this out of a Will Ferrell movie at all. I’m incredibly happy that I watched it.

I really watched because Rachel McAdams, she is a great actress...
@@youtubetake-over4805 I think he meant that this is not the typical Ferrell movie.
So... we not gonna talk about how much the world needs a full version of the Conchita / Elina duet?
YYYEEESSSS please ... 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 the both amazing and gorgeous
Yaaaaaaaasssssssss
What song is that though?
@@leobraker4 Conchita sings in French: "Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi" ("Don't go without me") - Celine Dion won the ESC for Switzerland in 1988 with this song.
@@russianconnection377 also it will be better without idiots, but there you are
My favourite scene of the film😍😍😍🇪🇺🇪🇺🇪🇺
Hard to dislike this movie if you're fan of Eurovision. The producers did a great job.
Nobody:
Alexander Lemtov: QUICKER THAN A RAY OF LIIIIIIIIGHT
Omg dying 😂😂🤣
HAHAHA best COMMENT
His voice kills me 😂
RIght! SO operatic.
MY FAVOURITE
Both campy and beautiful
As an American, this was the best possible ad for Eurovision. I'm definitely going to check it out next year
Welcome to the Eurovision fandom! I doubt next year's Eurovision will be the full experience because of coronavirus but anything is better than cancelling it like they did this year. There are a lot of older contests you can watch on CZcams. I recommend 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2015.
YAAAAAAS 😍😍😍
Mirror Onthewall Definitely 2015
Mirror Onthewall dont forget 2009
2016 and 2018 are fairly good too
ALL MY FAVORITE SONGS BUT DANG WHEN THEY SANG THE CELINE DION SONG I DID NOT EXPECT THE HIGH PITCH LIKE WHAT?!
This does not get old. Time to watch Husavik now!!!
