Why are we to be concerned about the economics? I likely spend the same amount of money each season. No matter what day it is. If they weren’t buying at Grice’s on a Saturday they are some other day.

I find it hilarious you think your Facebook page has 5,000 members and then you get 600 views of this podcast and it’s mostly Saturday supporters here to call you out on your BS. Move on fellas, you are too old to let something this trivial take up all your time especially when it’s a lost cause. Saturday makes more sense in all aspects and I’ll never change.
Also the very worst thing you can do is bring legislators into this. What happens down the road when you get a majority of liberal legislators in all 3 branches of the state government and they decide they don't like hunting at all and now there is a precedent set that you have condoned of getting the legislation involved in hunting laws.
Honestly I’ve had a hell of a time finding ammo for my rifle and including Grice’s didn’t have the ammo I use available so I order from midway usa for that stuff now
Has anyone surveyed the local businesses in the small towns who have beed affected by the Saturday opener. Our cabin is located near Laceyville Pa. Laceyville, Tunkannock, and Wyalusing were bustling with hunters spending money on these two days before the Monday opener. These small towns looked forward to the increased amount of business Saturday and Sunday gave them a tremendous boost to their end of the year final line! I can tell you first hand it's hurt them tremendously. These small town businesses have suffered. IF THEY CAN BE SURVEYED AND WILL SPEAK UP, IT WILL HELP THE CAUSE TREMENDOUSLY. Why not keep it Saturday for the opener. Following weekend Saturday and Sunday off and Monday start. Fixed. Since it’s not about tactually hunting and more about the experience you get your weekend back. Everyone wins….

Could you share that 'Stop it' edict that commissioner Schnepp-Giger levied, possibly in the next podcast? I know you said you were provided a screen grab of it but it didn't carry over in your video. I'd be very interested to see the commentary she made in full. It truly is quite disheartening to see the way some people carry themselves with respect to their view of fellow hunters 'on the other side' so I can understand her rationale for scolding someone, however, as others have said... never should have inserted herself into the discussion. I suppose because it's a 'private' group - why that's even necessary - she felt safe in doing so. She also never should have used her position to insert a second edict decreeing the outcome of the 2023 - 2024 seasons and bag limits. If I were any of the other commissioners, President Schnepp-Giger would be getting a phone call. The only thing dead in the water is faith, trust and credibility.
Total Conflicts of Interests! Total disregard of the obvious that They made a TOTAL mistake changing from Monday to Saturday! There need to be changes made in the hunting commission! I'm hunting in Pennsylvania and want our opener moved back to Monday as it was for 60 years.
