You are right but when she made it inside with a hammer with the kids that dad needs to grow a pair I don't disagree that that is extremely hateful but at the same time that family needs to defend their home bar none I believe they said a four-year-old was in the home during that time she made entry with a hammer a deadly weapon none-the-less she very well could have lawfully been shot dead woman or not even though I may be able to get that hammer from her crazy ass and knock her out I'm not taking that risk with my kids around she would be definitely dealt with swiftly especially with a four-year-old in the house he would have been killed shot and killed by anyone where I am from and I am from one of the most gun-control states around and the fact is she made entry with intentions on using a deadly weapon along with that multiple threats vulgarity and harassment for a long time before hand that has been documented by police I do think the police should have arrested her which they did but it obviously didn't stick to well I think they were probably trying to hint to the family without directly saying it that she is going to be a continuous problem unless you deal with her yourself with the use of deadly force if necessary in your house with a hammer that is beyond necessary that is an absolute bullet and hopefully you don't get some b******* charge for saving your family but I honestly don't think they would have in that case it would have been clearly documented and deemed justified by anyone with a brain eyes and ears
Incorrect. Castle doctrine is in full play in Missouri and the moment she stepped into the home with a hammer they could've shot her dead and then gone to McDonald's afterwards laughing about a sick racist being a shirt graphic now.

She was charged with 1st Degree Burglary, 1st Degree Property Damage, Unlawful Use of a Weapon. This woman is not going to get the punishment she deserves. Watching this makes me SO angry. I’ll admit that I wouldn’t have been able to resist opening the door to confront that 🤬 The nerve! The police ignoring this family’s pleas for help is something that happens all-too often with minority families in these kind of situations. Case in point, the ongoing harassment of the Black Colorado rancher, and his family by the racists that are angry that he purchased 1,000 acres. Their dogs have been killed, heads of livestock cut off, property vandalized with slurs, etc., but police continue to ignore their 170+ requests for help, but then arrested HIM after a neighbor complained once that he’d been stalking *him.* There’s also the case in Tennessee where a Black veteran’s 7 bedroom home was burned to the ground by racist neighbors, while the police ignored their ongoing please for help throughout the years. He and his family are now homeless. There are countless other examples of this same type of police behavior. It’s not uncommon.

The police don't prosecute. That's a different government agency
No, the police did what they were supposed to do. They arrested her for burglary and property damage and a couple of other things. After that, the police are no longer responsible. The police do not "protect" anybody. They simply act as a deterrent, so that bad guys know if they hurt somebody they'll face justice. So you can have some comfort knowing the guy who killed you _might_ go to jail.
Remember, if you want *protection* hire an armed guard.

This is why people handle justice themselves. The justice system and this whole corrupt country is an absolute disgrace.
The older I get the more I lose faith in the ideals of our country, of democracy itself. One thing for sure is that justice is only for the wealthy. Hire a lawyer? Where is that tens of thousands of dollars coming from? And once spent, you can still end up with nothing, no solution, no money, no justice. Been there. It's hopeless.

I had a similar issue with a neighbor. He would come over and bang on my door and yell at me, and one time he was hitting the door so hard that one of the little windows in the door fell in and broke. Many times I called the police and nothing was done. After about a year, he came smashing at my door again and one of the windows fell out again and broke. So I immediately went out grabbed him and physically threw him off my property. He called the police, they came running over, and then I showed them what had happened. The next door neighbor said he saw him do it and since the police didn't do anything before, I took over and told them I would continue to do this every time he stepped foot on my property from here on out. This was 25 years ago, we didn't have camera's on our houses back then like we do today. These people shouldn't have had to go through her harassment more than the first time without the police doing something to this lady. Had they thrown her off their property, they would be the ones going to jail.....what a sad country we live in when we have citizens in our country that treat people like this.

If someone did this to me in my home. I would definitely want to send them flying off my porch. But then with my luck, she’ll crack her head open and I’ll go to jail. So don’t ouch or touch anyone. I agree with you. Pray the police departments start taking responsibility for all citizens' safety. We need our police to be intelligent, motivated toward success and act as the foundation of our neighborhoods. (Expect more=pay more)

Oh come on. The police do not control what laws are enforced. The prosecutors office does. If you want to lay blame somewhere put it on the prosecutor who is elected by the citizens. The Hispanic American family should go to the prosecutors office with a local tv reporter and get some answers. I am amazed that the people who believe that the police are always to blame are uniformly female with no understanding of how their local government works. It would never hurt to go to open meetings to find out how things work. Knowledge is a good thing.

As much ascI think this is bad, I've come to learn that unless something severe like battery or manslaughter is involved, the police is not really interested. In my area, you don't have to call the police at night for things like noise or someone threatening you. They just don't show up. It's like they don't want to do the paperwork. If you call at 4 pm, an army of cops show up for petty stuff.
