- A white woman in San Francisco is coming under fire on social media after a video of her calling the police on an 8-year-old black girl selling water outside her home went viral, prompting calls of racism. The girl was apparently selling water to raise money for a trip to Disneyland. The woman, who claimed the little girl did not have a permit, is now defending herself. NBC’s Miguel Almaguer reports.

Its not even called a Sellers permit. Its called Wholesale License or Reseller License. I had one when I was in middle school and high school. Totally agree. When I say or do something wrong I FEEL it! Maybe not in the moment if I reacted in anger or fear. This was not an action done because of fear of bodily harm or her feelings being hurt.

Even though she is 100% correct? When do the laws of the land not get enforced? When it's a cute little girl who is breaking them? People go crazy about someone breaking the most inane laws going and don't want to hear about mitigating circumstance because breaking the law is breaking the law and "ignorance is no defence of the law" but here we have a little girl breaking the law but now we have to put the laws to one side? Who decides this? Everyone wants laws enforced when it suits them but not when it doesn't. The little girl isn't doing any harm but many laws don't cause any harm to anyone but still get enforced with zeal because they're laws. Once you publish a law, you're always going to get someone pointing to someone else who has broken it but in this case it's not popular so we have to conveniently ignore this particular law.

Had similar happen with my nephew recently. We have been focusing on teaching the kids the value of money, savings and work. He wanted to go to six flags with his friends but that many tickets would be too much that what we could afford. So after asking his friends parents if they could pay for their kids tickets, of the four only one could afford it. So on the way home he saw how many people had fruit that they did nothing with and got an idea.
He asked the home owners if they swept an clean their yard and in exchange keep the fruit. It was a hit and he had unloaded a truck bed worth of fruit. The but not only sorted but washed the fruit too. They set up a sign and everything next to a busy park. They were making bank... till a Karen came over and was an absolute nightmare. I swear, some folks just can't see innocents without having to tear it down.
