"My wife made a spreadsheet which she updates daily"... oh my gosh! You married a damn queen lmao!! Awesome.
I really appreciate that you kept this brief and to the point with no fluff to extend the video runtime!
Thanks Rob! Picked up a couple aluminum channels.
This is awesome as it's extremely difficult to actually keep track of prices, especially with coupons and promos. Thanks to you and your wife for providing such useful information. I've said it before, but this channel rocks as you actually focus on what's important to buyers.
I was just looking at the Happrun H1 the other day because of your video, and you convinced me to pull the trigger with this sale vid! Thanks!
You and your wife rock! Thanks!
Thanks Rob.
That spreadsheet is awesome! Thx to your wife!
Thank you for this! Quick question, how would a lifestyle projector like the JMGO N1 Ultra, permanently mounted, compare to a more traditional theater projector like the epson 4010? Assuming laser speckle isn't an issue with a white screen, which would you recommend for use mainly with movies and TV?
Well, Epson 4010 is only half 4K resolution, so 4 million pixels vs the JMGO's 8 million, the 4010 is a bulb projector so you'll need to replace the bulb every 2000-3000 hours, and the laser on the JMGO N1 will have significantly higher color space coverage. The 4010 will have very slightly better contrast, but nothing like you'd get on the UB series. The 4010 does have exceptional mounting flexibility though, with opical zoom and horizontal and vertical lens shift, the JMGO has none of that.
@@TheHookUp Thank you for the response! In your video from 6 months ago, you seem to recommend the Hisense C1 over the JMGO N1 Ultra. Would you still recommend the C1 over the N1, especially when planning to permanently mount it to the ceiling? Also considering the BenQ X3000i, though I don't think I've seen a review from you on that one.
Honestly having a tough time deciding on projectors here lol.
@@yapoloco C1 has dolby vision and less laser speckle, but isn't as bright and doesn't have as high of contrast as the N1 Ultra.
Thanks!
I like your spreadsheet! That’s dedication
Hi! Is Hikvision Compatible PTZ Cam compatible with Blue Iris ? After checking the link, the camera is not available at this price any more...
Yes, I use it with blue iris.
Super compatible with the CCP. Best connectivity to Xi I’ve seen
Allowing any security camera to access the internet is extremely poor networking and cybersecurity practice, no matter the camera's country of origin.
The black version of the vicvis PTZ has a $30 off coupon!
Hello! Great content! I am in Europe and I got the Jmgo N1 Pro on sale for 1050 euros just a week ago. Now I can get the Benq GP500 for around 1200 euros. Do you think there is any use case where the N1 pro is a better pick or i should go for the GP500 no brainer??
N1 Pro will be easier to aim and has better automatic keystone, but the GP500 will be better in almost every case.
Hi! Is there a home projector with color correction you would recommend? I have dark green walls in my living room and am trying to understand what the best option is
What's your budget? The new XGIMI projectors have pretty good wall color correction.
@@TheHookUp up to 800$
@@TheHookUp mu budget is up to 800 USD. I was looking at the Samsung freestyle but watched your video on it and understood I could find better so I'd love to have your suggestion
Rob,
Even with the laser speckle issue you mentioned , you think the JMGO N1 Ultra 4K is worth the investment? I know you mentioned screening texture as a factor for performance.
I have a matte white 2 screen from EliteScreens. How would you say this an image projected on this screen by the JMGO N1 would compare to your favorites the Hisense C1 and the Formovie X5?
Given your stats , with the exception of the Laser speckle issue , it looked like the JMGO would've been the hands down winner. I put my purchase consideration in the lifestyle category on pause because of this. ( I really want a triple laser that meets the Rec 2020 specification) Thankx.
Yes, the JMGO is the best performing lifestyle projector except for its laser speckle. If you are not sensitive to it, or are willing to use a screen that reduces speckle it is by far the highest performance you can get for under $2000.
@@TheHookUp Thank you Sir!
Smart video to make!
Hello ❤❤
Can you help me please i really need your help to choose a projector
Do you have affiliate links for Amazon Asia/Australia? Looking to grab an L10S but I want to make sure you get your cut 😁
I unfortunately do not have an AU affiliates account, thanks for checking though :)
Hello there THU :D
The Reolink Duo 3 is on sale for $120!! (Edit: ugh.. it must have been a type.. i didnt order fast enough.. now it's $150)
Why are none of these on sale for me? (Because I'm in Canada?)
Unfortunately, yes. I dropped a few CA links in the description for things that were on sale, but you guys didn't get the same sales that the US did.
Hello.........
May 4 BenQ launch It's flagship projector W5800 in india. Price $6000. Later in US market HT5800.
2600 Lumen.... in movie it’s brightness 1700 lumen , 65% brighter than others projectors...
3D support
but no.mentioned about - IMAX or DOLBY VISION.....
Can u tell me something about this ?
What about XGIMI horizon max ? Which is best ?
1700 lumens doesn't sound like it will be 65% brighter than other projectors, lots of projectors are well over 1700 lumens.
Why does your go to camera only have a 3.8 rating?
Read the reviews. Looks like a few people had issues with the waterproofing (I've not had any issue with this in Florida), a few people complained that the web interface is bad/ugly (not really an issue if you're using with a hikvision NVR or blue iris), and a bunch complained that the phone app doesn't work (this is not a camera designed for stand alone use, it needs to be added to an NVR or NVR Software).
@@TheHookUp Thanks for clarifying. I’m really struggling with finding the right camera. Been watching your videos for a while now. Do you offer personal advice? How can I contact you with what my needs are and what you would recommend? I also am in Florida. Thanks so much!
If only this would apply to Canada as well. 😢
I put a few CA links in the description for things that were also on sale up north, but you're right, not everything applies.
@@TheHookUp it makes me very sad. Especially Shellies, because they're a cool product, but almost always one of the most expensive options for us.
Thanks!
