    Lauten Audio LA-220 - sweetwater.sjv.io/4PKbLG
    Lauten Snare Mic - sweetwater.sjv.io/DK1PBq
    Lauten EDEN - sweetwater.sjv.io/k0bekx
    Clarion - sweetwater.sjv.io/zNqER7
    In this video we use all the Lauten Audio Mics I can get my hands on.
    The LS-208, Lauten Audio LS-308, Lauten LA-120, Lauten Audio LA-220, Lauten Snare Mic, the Lauten EDEN, the Clarion, and maybe more I'm forgetting. The idea was simple... recording a band using only mics from one company. This is such a quick way to learn what a company is all about and what their "SOUND" is. Lauten is ROCK. Think Foo Fighters... big drums... big guitars... just big. So many of the songs you've heard have included Lauten EDEN on the vocals Cadri B - Bodak Yellow...Too $hort, Maren Morris...
    We recording drums, guitars, bass, and vocals... all with LAUTEN mics

    My Mic is a AT2035 sounds really good. Very versatile. Never needed another mic that is how good it is.

    I saw your comment saying you don't have the Atlantis. Get it. If you want to borrow one I can bring it. I'm pretty close.
    On the topic of the video: I own every Lauten microphone with multiple pairs of many of them. I love Lauten. The Clarion is my kick mic. Always. The Eden, Atlantis, and Clarion are a godsend with flexibility getting a top quality result extremely fast. The LS-208 and 308 are the perfect solution to condenser bleed while still sounding like a top shelf microphone. I can use any microphones I want on toms, but I'm going with those. Even the super cheap LA-120, 220, and 320 deserve some serious respect.

      I don’t have the 320 either. What do you find you use those for?

    • @legacyShredder1
      @legacyShredder1 Před 8 měsíci

      @@RecordingStudioLoser I like them right next to the beater (to the right of the foot and kick pedal) capturing the slap. I favor the Neumann M50 for this, but with younger or less controlled drummers I'll put the 320 there instead so I'm not afraid to get it damaged due to being fairly cheap in comparison.
      I like to use the 320 for a 2nd pair of drum room mics about 1.5 to 2 feet off the ground with the primary rooms being a pair of ribbons placed higher up.
      When I've got stereo ribbon overheads I like to use a tube mic as a mono capture to add some of the detail back in right down the center. I'll usually use the Eden, but I've used the 320 and it works great.
      I really like the 320 on dark acoustic guitars.

    Hey can you post a link to that bands youtube or whatever, NOT SPOTIFY as their crooks and I can't support them, and they make you sign up just to listen to a song, which is a flat no for me. Thanks. Really dig the sond of em so far, kinda has a Queens vibe, except nice and heavy!

      Heck yeah I don’t use Spotify much anymore CZcams music is where it’s at for me. Sounds better anyway. But most of the times want their Spotify numbers up. I hope that goes away soon.
