The WWI mod has the same issue the base game has, in that old content is considerably more bare bones than newer content.

Finally! Greece got a decent focus tree. The country can be OP but it’s never had a good variety of paths to follow. I’ve been waiting for this

I haven't kept up with the mod but it's nice to see that Greece finally got a focus tree now we need one for Romania
This mod looks amazing. My only problem is with a focus tree this large, I think focuses taking 35 days is still not short enough. Perhaps 23 days or something would be fine.
There are many 21 day and 15 day focuses (I just played it today)
@@FishwicksREAL I meant most of the focuses, not just a few. Most focuses being 70 days really drags out the playtime
Can't say I've seen that. Most of my experience with the Great War Redux mod is that the war is over by Christmas 1914 as France just gets to walk into Germany basically unopposed.

Played as Greece today and realized the full extent of Megali, reclaimed Constantinople and made a Pontus-Armenia federation

It’s a shame that the developers have plans to do things that will completely dumpster the playability of this mod. There will be no potential for ahistorical play or a central powers victory or anything like that. Any talented mod creators need to get ready to make a new WW1 mod…

@@syrialak101They removed all the alt-historical paths that the players loved, the devs of the mod are completely "Pro-Entente" making stupid decisions that don't fit the game they want to make the mod historical without fix the bugs that make the mod less historical and unfun they should just make alt-historical paths be something crazy and make the historical paths be railroaded and scripted. I never play alt-historical in this mod but you can see some mistakes and bad design even when you play historical some examples are the following:
- The AI putting a trillion of divisions in every single border making you completely unable to break the lines ( I know this ww1 trench warfare but I'm very sure the British army didn't have trillions of division in fucking Greece that eat all their supplies)
- The Central Powers AI sucks making the most stupid mistakes that they obviously didn't made irl (but remember the mod should be 100% historical)
That's it I really hope some really competent and talented dev team make a really banger of WW1 mod because this era really deserve more attention.

@@syrialak101bitches are whining that we removed some of the most ridiculous paths, like the Soviet empire for Russia, or op ones like proud alone for ottomans, that allowed insane levels of expansion that no other country had and were giving insane buffs as well. We’re adding alt history though, as long as it’s plausible and realistic, Greek tree is the prime example of the mod policy
There will be a-history and a central powers victory, what are you on about? Do you just the dumb Soviet Era path that much?
Here's a harder path, as Qing Dynasty stay as Qing Dynasty through the independence and revolution wars and continue down that path

I've only seen WW1 stop before 1922 except one time I chose Central Powers as Italy and the Kaisar abdicated in 1915

They should realy make a better Italian focus tree like if you can chose to make a roman empire or smth. Not realy good focus tree rn but it can be a lot of improvements.

Government intervention in the economy 10 times out of 10 leads to a worse off economy while less regulation and intervention allows a free market to thrive.

@@Speederzzz that and the fact that the concept of less regulation being good is a misguided conservative belief (I am not joking btw, that is what it is defined as in US History by association). One of the best examples of less regulation making an economy and nation shit is Reagan’s presidency. Most of the US’s modern problems in terms of economy, distribution of wealth, income, etc comes from Reagan’s deregulation of the US. He made the US worse than when he got into the presidency, it’s just wild.
