Alex the reason why that area in Egypt is flooded is b/c it was a real world idea to build a canal into to the Qattarra Depression to basically turn the desert into water arable land. It failed irl because it's crazy expensive in money and labor to do
Don’t forget they ask the US if they could Barrow nukes to nuke the desert which the US entertained the idea. because Egypt would become our puppet.
the USA determined it’d be horrible idea as they learned more learned more and more about radiation ☢️ and that the water would be toxic since the nukes would be detonated underground, contaminated the soil and the water

Italy has never been unified ever before. Um, like as a state called Italy or are we just ignoring the Roman Empire? Or is that sarcasm, because never been and ever before in the same sentence seems intentionally redundant and hyperbolic. You could just say never been unified before.
To be semantic, the Romans never called themselves Italian.
