- Have you ever wondered if Germany could have won WW1?
Obviously you monkeys have, but now it's time to show you Kaiserreich in real time where Germany will be saved and turned into something great coming out of World War I.
Thist alternate history timeline is way better for Germany than even Kaiserreich and it's brought to you by the Great War Redux mod for Hearts of Iron 4!
GERMAN EMPIRE NO! HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE YES!
The Great War Redux is one of the newer HOI4 Mods that adds a lot more to the WW1 scenario of Hearts of Iron 4.
You can now have alternate history in World War I and we are gonna save Germany.
With the alternate history, you can betray all allies in Central Powers and form the HRE and make Germany huge.
This is one of the best hoi4 mods in 2022 and it's time to show the true German strength!

@@aboi6638 yeah, tgwr isnt really a hard mod, but its by no means easy and definitely not too easy, especially when you actually go historical. its like doing yugostrat on vanilla and then saying vanilla is easy. hitorical ww2 is harder just like historical ww1 is harder. if he wants a challenge, tommy should try a historical game as germany. if thats still to easy, japan is pretty bad, same with italy, and the ottomans are probably the hardest nation i would say. set on historical tho. allying russia so you dont have a 2 front war and then calling the mod easy is just ignorant. i know this is his first game but hes not immune to criticism

@@irenaveksler1935 that was the joke. im making fun of him for complaining that it was too easy while removing most of what makes ww1 mods difficult. the long east front while also fighting on the west. in ww2, germany only fought 1 front at a time in europe until 1944, this is part of the reason they were so successful. of course blitzkreig, maneuver warfare, all that was vital , but the fact that germany in ww2 could devote its entire military force to poland or denmark or france and the benelux, etc. made it so that germany could defeat those countries with relative ease and quickness. in ww1, germany was forced to split its resources among 2 large fronts. the 2 front war was what made it possible for the allies to win ww1, russia occupying much of germany's army in the east allowed the allied countries to dig in and withstand the offensive in the west.when germany was forced to fight 2 large fronts in ww2, it was much easier for the allies to push germany out of france and then into germany proper what with much of the forces on the eastern front with the soviets. suffice it to say, i am quite aware that fighting 1 front in hoi4, and, to some extent irl, is substantially easier than fighting 2.

Bulgaria is really interesting to play in this mod. You need to fight two Balkan wars very early and it is quite a challenge. (It also has an insane cavalry general so it's probably better to use cav for the early wars.)
The Ottomans have a lot of fun content but I would say it's relatively easy to play in singleplayer.

i tried to play bulgaria once but germany killing austria resulted in serbia never doing the focus to attack the ottomans, then hungary attacked germany for austrian land and serbia invited them to faction resulting in the weirdest ww1 ever

It's a great mod imo. Got tired of normal hoi4 and played a lot of this and the GoT mod. My best run was naval Brazil using early aircraft carriers.

This is because some of our speed limits are very odd, and our railways seriously need improving, and of course the big, expensive and not particularly worthwhile (in my opinion) HS2 project, and I feel some changes that I would implement are beneficial

The mode is made in a way that simulates ww1 as much as possible, this ks why he was able to enter from northern france for a couple of tiles and then met their army.
Try to play historical Bulgaria, bit win both wars or historical ottoman empire, you might be able to do your part in the war but winning it will be hard

How to blitzkrieg in this mod is to use cavalry and punch through gaps in the french lines. I didn’t even have to go through Belgium. Used cavalry to surround the french army.

I really just want Hoi5 to massively expand on the Civilian side of everything. Hoi4 hugely glosses over the Civilian side of War Economics.

Even tough Tommy said this mod is too easy historical Germany is actually quite hard specially the western front since the Entente just puts so many troops there and it’s pretty much a race against time because Germany gets a national spirit were if they don’t win the war until 1918 you start starving due to the British blockade and loose stability and war support

You should check out "The End of the Beginning" mod for Hoi4, Victoria 3 timeline in hoi4, 1857-1954
With these many hours in HoI4 you would most likely be better suited for the job than Lambrecht

The Idea wasnt to Outpower the British fleet, in fact is was to act as a distraction to allow the Germans to continue refining their land expertise.

If Im not mistaken wasnt roosevelt shot and just kinda like yelled at the gunman or scolded him or something afterwards?
So upon further reading he was shot in a crowd of his supporters in Milwaukee, his supporters then all ganged up on the shooter beating him and Roosevelt stopped them to ask the man why he had done it. He wouldnt answer him so he just said "get him to the police" and went on to give his speech.
The speech he was giving actually is what saved his life, the 300 page manuscript he had prepared was folded in half around his steel glasses case in his inner jacket pocket. This was what slowed the bullet preventing it from reaching his heart!
