- Ever since the writings of the popular Winston Churchill, a politician who has been advocating for the revival of Rome, the British public has suddenly started pushing its government more and more for an Empire never seen before.
No more are claims of the British Empire being talked about, now more than ever the people want the return of the Roman Empire which occupied these lands long ago.
The year is 1914 and WW1 has begun leading Europe into complete chaos.
As Germany, France, Russia and other European powers destroy each other, the UK is patiently looking on.
The British peoples cries of the return of the Roman Empire have been louder and louder and the popular Rome Revivalists are getting more support than ever.
Will the UK be plunged into the chaos of World War I and try to revive the dream of Rome after the Byzantine Empire, Holy Roman Empire, the Russian/Ottoman Empire have failed?
Or will the British Empire strong hold to its ideals?
Well I guess we will have to find out in this new episode of HOI4 Great War Redux Mod where we play the United Kingdom during WW1 and try to form the Fifth Rome!

You should play Great War Redux as Bulgaria. You should win both Balkan Wars and there is a focus to restore Byzantium (If you are up to the challenge use 5 width cavalry divisions).
I did this a few months ago, it was one of the greatest Hoi4 games I’ve ever played
I would argue EU4 has way more roleplay potentia than hoi4.
I think a good way to balance the amount of divisions late game is to have a cap on the amount of divisions from your recruiting laws like partial mobilization can have a cap of 72 divisions etc
Could also be balanced based on your Mobilization Law too (like total mob. War Economy, Partial Mob).

The industrial revolution has been the beginning of the greatest golden age in human history. Just because we are stupid and don't realize the climate crisis we have caused, does not mean that the industrial revolution wasn't one of the greatest things in human history. The fault is just ours.
Antiobiotics too are an amazing revolutionary invention, but we used and use them wrong and this is why we have super bacterias now. Always human's fault, unfortunately.
