I have slowly came to the realization that my 3 years in the Power & Recovery department, and now 13 months in the Machine Room as something I'm truly proud to be apart of. Thank you again

Hi!! I am happy to see you well. 😊 I miss more videos from you. It could be very nice to share your experience with us in terms of maintenance, typical problems in process or for example ways to improve paper quality for example CMT30. I finished my master tesis about waste water treatment plant for a paper factory 🏭 and got a lot of information and skills from your courses. 1000 Thanks 🙏. Take care Master!!!

I watched many of your papermaking classes, quite enjoyed them.
But, I was wondering, is there a more modern way of sizing paper (surface sizing)?
Specially to make a paper more resistant to moisture/water?
I was wondering if one could surface size a coloring book paper to be able to use watercolor or water based pens on it without bleeding…
I tried gelatin, and while it does prevent bleeding to the other side, the response of the water based medium on top of it is very washed down.
Would a distilled water and CMC solution work better?

Hi and thank you for your question
One definition of the word 'web' is - a complex system of interconnected elements.
so we have spiders web - as you know this is a complicated system of interconnected silk like threads
we also have World Wide WEB - a complex system of interconnected computers.
And paper WEB, - a complex system of interconnected fibres.
      Hope this helps
      Best wishes
      Steve
