- Hey guys,
in this video I show how to remove Intake manifold from 270CDI, without removing fuel rail. It is more simple method I think.
Torque spec for bolts holding Intake manifold to cylinder head is 16Nm.
Later I'll update description with part numbers of all gaskets etc. you'll need.
If you are interested how to delete fuel cooler let me know I can make a video about that. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
This is a job I will need to do at some point, well done, thanks for uploading !
how did you delete the diesel cooler? the water pipe under the cooler...where does that go? can you offer some details?
thanks
Nice job. Great video!
Thanks!
Super video
Thanks Alot !!!
Thank you very much for this video. IS there a list with gaskets o-rings etc needed ? Thank you !
Please do you use a synthetic oil for this car ?
My 2002 model (276000km) often loose power without alarm sign on dashboard. I have to stop, turn off and on engine, then its ok for a while. I've changed air filter and MAF sensor without success. The next step (i've been told ater a diagnosis)) is to change the intake manifold... Anyone else experienced the same?
How do you get the manifold bolt closest to the firewall off without removing the rail?
Oh I worked it out, you can loosen the bolt that holds the valve in on the rail
hey there I need to put a resistor on the swirl flap motor socket do you think is it possible to reach the socket without taking everything off?
Only if you have very little arms and fingers. You need to remove the left tyre and the cover to get to the intake
@@michaeljay6337 I actually used a lift the reach the socket, error code is gone... reduced to atoms. Also fun fact the problem wasn't the flap motor but weirdly turbo actuator is also controlled by vacuum which is used by headlights. The line had a crack but completely broken I accidentally broke the vacuum plug taped it and car literally doubled the horsepower. No codes no problems since then. For 1.5 years between 4 major cities in Turkey nobody could solve the problem.
The thermostat does not need to be removed
Good to know, thanks, seems pretty tight without tstat removed
