The only problem with the Invictus Games is that even 2,000 of the vets are no longer willing to attend because of the way the grifters are making the event about themselves while charging their travel, accommodations, wardrobe etc to the charity while the vets themselves pay their own way to be there. I refuse to donate to this charity until the grifters are removed as the patron. Meg shouldn't be front & center of the games - the vets should.

There are so many worthwhile veteran charities to donate to on the grassroots level which make immense impact, more so than this “spectacular”.

@@reader4111 YES! Wounded Warrior Project is pretty big, but they have some good programs my nephew has benefited from. Irreverent Warriors (while to those outside of veteran culture may look like 😮😮😮), is one I have personally witnessed make a huge impact. Their goal is to help prevent veteran suicide through humor and camaraderie.
We recently had four officers killed in the line of duty a couple of weeks ago. T2T has paid the families’ mortgages.

I hope the King would just completely cut the Harkles loose: not just from the official/ceremonial events like Trooping the Colour, Royal Garter, Royal Ascot but also the private side of things like summer at Balmoral and Christmas at Sandringham. Most royal fans are not interested in their children who can stay on the other side of the pond permanently.
The King can not just ignore him. This is playing into his victimhood narrative. If he really wants to ignore Harry, he would strip the titles and ask the parliament to remove the place in the LoS. As it stands, Harry has it all: the public attention, people's pity, people condemning KC plus the titles and the status.

The Invictus Games were supposed to be Harry's "Prince's Trust" where he could have a project and make a contribution. We didn't see Charles' basking in glory over The Prince's Trust. He supported it and would attend events to confirm his dedication to it, but never made it about himself. Harry has turned Invictus into a vanity project. It's because he is a petty, little man trying to build himself up. And that includes Harry allowing Meghan to use it the way she has. That is on him.
If I was asked to donate to Invictus I would refuse only because I would feel I was donating towards Meghan’s and Harry’s clothing and expenses.

Harry's commercial branding is becoming too interwoven with the Invictus Games which is not good in the long run. Meghan shouldn't even be involved at all except to be the supportive wife of the patron of the foundation. It needs to get either well-known athletes to be ambassadors or decorated veterans to step up and be visible for the Games.

The difference between the Invictus Games and the Earth Shot Awards is that the Earth Shot Awards are providing funds to deserving organizations who are trying to make a difference in the fight against global warming so their work can continue. While the Invictus Games started (with help from the RF, not just Harry) as a platform for injured veterans, it has been stolen by and become the Meghan and Harry Show and the focus has moved away from the athletes. As it did so, the games are losing money as people refuse to support something where their money is going to stoking the egos of the Montecito duo.

After the Games in Düsseldorf Germany has carved its own way. It is now called Invictus Germany and will hold Games EVERY year in Düsseldorf and will feature not only veterans but also " Blue Light Troops" which means police, fire fighters, and others.

I agree Brittany, Invictus is risking a lot with him right now. Something that really annoys me is his fake "concern" for British vets. His experience in the army came from the British armed forces and now he's only interested in how they connect to his "games". The MAIN REASON Invictus Games is failing is because it’s seen as a ca$h cow for H&M. No one is donating and big sponsors have pulled out! The Grift has infiltrated this worthwhile charity and people aren’t stupid!
Now that we know Harry was filming for Netflix yesterday; and the Palace had officially stated Harry never submitted a formal request for a meeting with Charles-the visit was just a payday for Harry. Harry didn’t want to see Charles.
Don’t forget Harry did not found or create the ideas of Invictus. Invictus came from the US Wounded Warrior games. The concept was expanded by William; Catherine; Edward and Phillip, After they did the hard work of setting it up it was then given to Harry because he needed something to do. ( after being required to active military service)
