I just wanted an inexpensive ON-EAR, not in-ear or over-ear decent headphone. These headphones are cheap, they sound much better than average and are great to connect to your laptop, listen casually to music , watch videos etc. They are super light, comfortable and enjoyable.

If you want to extract the best sound of this headphone, first of all, remove the dampers in front of the drivers. These ones just sacrifices resolution just for more bass. You will also need a powerful audio source because these headphones are incredibly hard to drive.
They sound great (regardless of price) but break too easily. I repaired them with superglue for three times, and after 10 years they are still great to listen and especially to compare with other overpriced ones. There are a lot of people that hate in ear phones because they are not comfy, and lots of people who hate bulky expensive over the ear headphones because they are too heavy. These sony they are very small and very light, very comfy even after hours of use. So all in all, they are great headphones apart from the cheap plastic.
Hmmm I never problem with phone broke if snap but I only get headphone that one speaker does to quick.

I have these, and honestly, if you’re not a hardcore gamer or whatever, they’re pretty good. Not noise canceling at all though (for me I actually like that because I can hear when people need me). Pretty decent for the price

@@OHHHHUSBANT I believe what he's trying to say is that it has its own class for its price. Compared to other low budget headphones they sound pretty well because ehem.. they're "sony" but, definitely not the "best" headphones for gaming. I'm sure there are better expensive ones so I wouldn't class it that, but for people like me who just want a pair of headphones to do the job and have good sound quality, in it's price range, its pretty good but not the best, but it works :)

I'm looking for a gaming headset that does *not* have volume control on it. My last several gaming headsets all failed at the volume control module on the cord. I control my volume with the keyboard so having volume control on the headset is pointless. It's really frustrating to pay a bunch of money for something that fails because of a feature I don't need.
Its the same old story.... cheap re cost and punters expect the equivalent of far more expensive headphones... you GET bang for your BUCK NOT BUCK for your BANG... I bought two of these because they are used for late night listening re sound from the tv extension et .. comfortable and sound real good within tv sound range et nominal 'talk' settings et.. I also have audiophile headphones that cost over 300 bucks .... I don't compare a Ferrari to a Lada...

which headphones are better for listening to music - jbl t500 or sony mdr zx110 ?

Jbl t 500 has sharp voice, sony 110 has bass. I've used both sony lasted for 2 years but I accidentally broke it's jack otherwise there wasn't any sound issue even after 2 years. On the other hand in jbl's 500 one side stopped playing after only 5 months. I replaced that and the replaced one also got sound issue on one side. So I had to replace it again within 1 year
I got these headphones for $10, mainly to watch youtube videos. I guess it's worth the price, but compared to my previous Sony MDR ZX100 headphones (very similar model), these sound kinda "boomy and echoy" in comparison. Voices aren't quite as clear (slightly muffled?) and background noises in the video seem louder. I don't really like these.. but it's only $10.
Where is the microphone in the headset?
I wear them for monitoring camera audio. They are fine for that.

They older ones they made years ago was better quality. The ear padding was much better too!

Sound stage good for the price, but not to good for more detail like bass, treable and sub bass

what is the difference with mdr zx 310ap version?
The only difference is the mdr ZX 310ap is it includes on the microphones cable.

I probably have made good decision, not purchasing this Headphone. Mine from "Monste"r Hongkong brand, cost the same but feels better. Kinda like Sony XM4 😅

I got a couple sets of these to give directors/producers a feed of the audio I am recording on set. They work perfect for that, but I myself use Audio-Technica ATH-M50 which are lightyears better.
I like these headphones but they lack bass and aren't loud enough, they struggle with transients.
I have an XB50AP and XB55AP in-ear headphones and blows these out of the water overall.
