    I would personally appreciate seeing more reviews like this one. I love videos about high-end headphones, but let's be honest, it is usually much more useful and practical to see, if something like these JBLs is any good than to check if a new 3000-dollar planar is 9.5 or 10/10. I can not speak for eveyone, but I think something like 1 review of affordable headphones (or TWS) every 5 or 6 videos would be great.

    Love to see a comparison between this and the Anker Soundcore Q35, which are my go-to for over-the-ear wireless cans. The LDAC support and customizeable EQ profiles in the app make them worthwhile IMO, even if the ANC isn't on par with high-end Sony or Bose.

    I feel like one thing that should be pointed out when comparing wired and wireless headphones is that wireless headphones aren't designed to have easily replaceable batteries, so generally speaking they have an expiration date because all batteries die. Wired headphones don't have that problem and can essentially last forever if you take care of them, minus pad changes and maybe cable changes if that gets worn out.
    If you really want a wireless headphone then, getting a cheaper one makes a certain amount of sense since it's easier to replace. This at least is cheaper than most of the low end bluetooth dongles like a BTR5 or a Qudelix 5K. The bluetooth dongle would allow you to use much better sounding (and more expensive) headphones on the go, but you have to deal with a wire and replacing the dongle when its battery expires. So if you don't mind the drop in sound quality and want no wires, this becomes pretty compelling. If you don't mind a wire and have a headphone (or IEM!) that's easy to drive, you might be better off with just that and an Apple dongle or another non-bluetooth dongle though, since it's going to last so much longer.

      This is one of the major reason I don't want to buy BT headphones for portable use. As an audiophhile, not only I want an investment last longer, but also sound great. I wish the headphone is as compact, premium and comfortable as B&O PX8, but also sound as good as focal celestee, wired and balanced connection if necessary, without BT, ANC. Previous oppo PM3, Beoplay H6 are all good ones. But today, it is extremely hard to find. Dan Clark Aeon Noire, Audio technica wp900 are good examples, but that's pretty much it. The second reason is in the same price bracket, IEMs almost can't compete to full size headphones in terms of sound. Tried various IEMs, they sound good, but to have equal sound quality to over ears, it is way too expensive. For example, you have to spend end top dollar (usually above 2k) to get sound quality as good as 1k dollar headphones. The other reason is BT have transmission limitations. Yes, it is small, but still audible compare to wired.

      I own one of these. The wired audio is definetely worse than BT. Bought this one. Feels great for the price, but it have some problems. First, the little conector doesn't fit in the hole in a proper way, making only one side working. This can be solved after pushing and pulling back the connector a little bit. And then, songs with channel panning effects (Left and Right - Charlie Puth, for example) aren't reproduced properly when the headphone is cabled. Can you tell me if you face the same issues?

    • @Arovna
      @Arovna Před rokem

      Nope, no issue.
      My Samsung Note 8's audio is noticeably fowngraded when wired, BT is better, I notice the bass sound wiidely different and I cant make the wired EQ sound as good as BT after a lot of fiddling. (the only EQ I use is the EQ in the samsung music default app).
      otherwise with my other phone, a Huawei p smart+, the audio is impeccable and the same wired and bluetooth.
      on my laptop there's no downgrade either.
      I think it really depends on the device youre plugging it in. I tried using my Epos B20's audio output where I can plug headphones as passthrough, and despite using my laptop's exact same settings as my laptop's audio jack output, it sounds SOOOO much worse. so maybe you're running into this issue ?
