- A single day of 35mm street photography pov in New York City. I recently took a day trip to NYC with my Sony 35mm G master and Sony a7iii. This was my first time shooting street photography in this energetic city. I neglected to shoot the entire day from my pov and there are still some images I got from this day that I didn't share in this video (some bad and some good).
All in all I will definitely be taking more trips to NY this year specifically to shoot more street photography. I've also started to enjoy 35mm a lot more as a focal length recently, which didn't always used to be the case.
Thanks for all the support in this channel so far!

This is officially my favorite comment I have received.
Man your color theory is incredible. Truly an amazing job editing, I cant wait to see more! New inspo for me!
I do my best! Thanks you!
New York is my new favorite city. i like it 😍
New York is my new favorite city. I could stay there for days shooting 📸
Man you are criminally underrated. Great shots!
CRIMINALLY
You did a great job. You should try to capture other parts of NYC whenever you return (if you haven't already).
Nice! Your swing shots had motion blur well under control. I'm guessing you were 1/200 or even faster?
usually shoot in aperture priority and have a minimum shutter of 1/250!
great vibe man :) keep it up
I will watch after work
You got a lot of great photos!
loved it topher ❣
Ok. REALLY liked the videos. I also enjoyed the photographs you captured. L
Exactly know what you meant NYC has been the most hectic city for street photography but I wanna do that again lol
I will definitely be back!
Digging this video and this channel! Keep it up bro!!
Thanks Patrick! Will do!
My favourite shot was the black guy dressed like a pimp.
great Video. for Street photography: 35mm or 50mm?
If I had to pick one I'd choose 35mm. 50mm is also really great too but it all depends on what you're looking to shoot! 35mm will let you include more of your environment and something like a 50mm would be great for closer more intimate photos!
Hi, I normally just say nice or good job but you got some negative comments here so I'll say a bit more. HCB said if you get one really good shot from a roll of 36 you are doing very well. The guy looking out the window, with the woman in the background at 3.46 is your really good shot. Get enough of those and you could produce a good book. I also liked the other b&w shots , the colour did nothing for me . Iwas actually saying take the shot when the guy pushing the trolley loaded with plastic bags was in front of you, it could have been one of your best shots. Never censor what you do , do it , examine it later. If I find someone to help me I'm going to put some of my work on YT this year. Then you can critique my attempts. Best wishes Jake E.
I appreciate the thoughtful critique! I also hadn't noticed the guy with the trolley of bags until I went back to edit this and thought the same thing 😂most of the photos I've shown in my videos are all from the same single days worth of shooting and I'm attempting to share more of the reality of a single days work in this style of photography as opposed to only sharing "bangers" in an attempt to overcome my own issues with perfectionism and hopefully show people a more authentic side of what I do. Thanks again though for the intentional feedback!
Hi , yes I know it was one day , hence the HCB quote. He would shoot a 36 exp. Film in one morning or one afternoon. You got one great shot (window) and a few pretty good. That is actually all you can expect in one day. Keep shooting and keep looking and your average will rise. Street is not easy. Quote... It takes a lot of milk to make a little cheese. HCB . Bye for now, Jake E.
I hate this put the camera in ppls face style. Keep that up in nyc, you're gonna run across the wrong one
To each his own! I'm well aware of the risk involved, but I hope you find the content that you're looking for on here!
None of the photos was impressive.
Try harder.
