Now, Fujifilm India has revealed the price of x100vi in India and it's too high. On paper it say's 1600 US dollars - And that does not translate to ~1.35 Lakhs but 1.8 Lakhs (i.e; ~45K more) . With this pricing, seriously, it does not make any sense at all. X100v initially was just 1.2 Lakhs . X100vi's 33% hike in pricing is just odd. I'm very much decided now, not to go for it. I rather will increase budget a little and get some compact full frame - That's a wise decision.

I once read: "creativity is the opposite of productivity." I really think about it that way. If you focus on the final product (productivity), you will focus on the outcome rather than the process. With creativity you want to get distracted, and let your mind wander into the unkown.

“Grind”, “Discipline” and “Relevance” mean nothing; they’re just words that social media tries to shove in our faces by self-help influencers who wouldn’t know the creative process if it whacked them upside the head. I create for the love and joy of it. I don’t have time to “prove” myself. Thanks for sharing such an enlightening video!

“Creating enough to stay relevant”. That one hit home. It’s what I hate most about social media. It’s not about making something worth sharing, it’s about making something so we’re not forgotten. Sad reality for creators. Nice video btw 👍🏼

really appreciate this review and video, but ultimately, from what i've gathered, it seems like you're comparing an experimental film stock to something that established. like yeah, it's not gonna look like "normal" film. isn't that the whole point of experimental film. did i miss something in the comparison?

I really liked your video and admire your POV while capturing your artistic street photographs! I’ve watched Roman Fox and other street photographers in London and Japan so it’s wonderful to see Chicago. I just got a Canon R8 and visited Chicago and had a blast but having tried my hand at very amateur street photography I can see you’re very talented. I posted only a shorts video of a few of mine that were vertical and I hope to post some more but my video segments are terrible... clearly don’t have my image stabilized and completely bad. I liked all your captured moments especially the bus stop 👍. I’ve subscribed and look forward to watching more of your beautiful work.

It's interesting to me that this video about accountability was longer than two-thirds of the videos you've posted so far. You were mentally prepared to discuss this to some degree!

Nicely done! You have an effective speaking style, too.

Take it a step further. Ditch the modern glass and go vintage. The sharpness is still such a giveaway. It still looks digital. If that's what you're going for then great! But slapping on some vintage glass will take it to the next level. Also, at 4:29, you selected a film profile, but didn't check the effect box at the top, it was bypassed and never applied..

Currently don’t have a clear way to hold myself accountable, but your words got me for sure. The idea of “I just don’t wanna be like that anymore” is too real. This year I would like to hold myself accountable to actually posting and sharing my journeys and arts <3

I tried the regular posting on socials to keep myself accountable initially but as those 'deadlines' came and went I felt more disappointed in myself. Over the past year I've started writing a newsletter and hitting the mark can be difficult. Fighting perfectionism is a challenge - I think in particular when you start getting people who watch / read / like your work because now there is an audience; and our idea of audience stems from social media. People hungry for something new and if you don't match the criteria its too bad. We think an 'audience' determines what we should put out into the world.

Awesome! Kudos to you for the openness and courage. Listening to you was very inspiring to me, as I am at the similar place as you - I need to change, and the accountability and structure is the ticket. Thank you.
