I'm Serbian and went to Korea in 2019 (to Daegu) and I loved it so much 🤩 glad you liked my country
That Korean market opened few months ago, i think that's the first Korean market here, i found some cool stuff to try last time. Also Belgrade have several Korean restaurants. Here from Asia we mostly have Chinese markets and cuisine, also Indian. Not many Japanese or Korean places.
Actually that whole park was Belgrade fortress up to 19th century, one of the main gates was at the place of Republic Square (some 1km away from todays remaining walls) but in late 19th century with urbanization most of outer walls and fortifications were demolished to make space for the city. And most of buildings inside fortress were demolished through many wars, in medieval time Belgrade had several churches, towers and big castle just inside the fortress.
We the people of Serbia heartly welcome tourists to visit us from all over the world !
Serbia is very safe for tourists (much safer then Paris, London..for example) and the people are very welcoming to anyone who visists us.

Glad that you liked Serbia, i used to live in NYC and my favorite place to eat was Korean town in Midtown one street with only Korean restaurants, hotels , stores, best food ever, Korean bbq 🍗 is the best and kimchi soaps , I miss so much 😊
