The architecture of Hogwarts was like 5x better than I could imagine. I think it's bigger than the books or the movies ever depicted.
I thought the same. Even though a lot of the corridors and rooms were inspired from the movies, they really did an amazing job of putting everything together.

The intro using Crucio and Incendio and then Arresto Momentum for a "slow burn" seemed hilarious and like some hyper evil satire at first, but is made all the sweeter after finding these are actually legit combos and even count as combat achievements in the game 😂
Never occurred to me to use that combo. Now I gotta just to see, you know, for academic purposes of course.

Having a house point system can be very useful in lieu of a morality system. You can be free to do bad things but getting caught can lose your house points, while doing certain good things gives you points. It's quite simple but it can make things interesting, maybe your fellow house members may act more hostile if you keep losing them points for example.
That transition from Harry using flu powder to the sept of Baelor explosion was pretty nice
The bell wiping out some bystanders gets me every time. 😂
“Your bigger than my dad!?” “That’s too bad for your mom” this skit was amazing.

25:11 That's actually a picture of Wendelin the Weird. When they used to do Witch burnings, the Witches and Wizards would cast a charm on the fires, so all they felt was a light tickling. Wendelin the Weird liked it so much that she allowed herself to be caught and burned 47 different times in various disguises.
A pretty cool bit of lore that they added in!
What a kinky witch
That's the kind of ridiculous lore I need.
this homage was also in the camber of secrets game for the gameboy
Thank you.
Backstory is AWESOME!!!
Light tickling as in the flames wouldn't kill them and just tickle them? Or they altered their senses so they'd have a painless death? 😅
I'm assuming the first though.
This is the game in which I constantly, and I mean *constantly* , decide to do something in particular, then I *slightly* go off track for one second, just to "see what's around the corner", and 30 minutes later I find myself in the complete opposite side of the castle after solving 15 puzzles. I'm a super curious, story and exploration driven type of gamer, so that happens to me in other RPGs as well, but this one has that certain something to it. The way it entices you into exploring every single little corner is simply charming!
Well said!
choices don't matter and combat is a joke
LOL I kept tellimg myself..."Stop picking up side quests" yet I kept picking up side quests. LOL I never do that in games
@@warrioremperor6320 I hate to break this to you but choices do not have to matter and the combat is perfectly fine if you don't expect some crazy combat system(which isn't needed to begin with). This game was incredible. And imagine what they could add in a sequel. We could have quidditch, the tri Wizard tournament, possibly delving more into Azkaban, or it could be even set at one of the numerous other wizarding schools in the world, such as the one they mention in Uganda. I’m so excited for more of these games
I really hope JKR does SOMETHING about this in the future and stops these wackos from ruining the original storyline or nosediving the franchise like they did with rings of power.
@@russellwilliams4317 But JK is really bad at making sequels to Harry Potter lol
Man... you can tell someone is young from their enthusiasm for things that will eventually happen but suck. You'll figure it out, kid, hopefully. Don't just be another franchise slut like Star Wars or LOTR fans.
Please stop buying trash just because you recognize the name. It's pretty clear you don't know what quality actually looks & feels like.
But the Triwizard made no sense in the books. A kid couldn't just say: "Nope, I have no idea how to do this." But instead had to TRY fighting a dragon or swimming under water for 45 minutes while adults watched and cheered them being mauled or drowning? They couldn't take a pass at all, else the entire thing with Harry could have been easily avoided by him just being allowed to say: "I'll take last."
And the games also made no sense, as well as entire schools needing to move into the host school. "Well, screw your education for this year."
If they did the Triwizard, it would be like four basic mini-games that would take like 30 minutes at most.
I truly felt like a kid again reading the books for the first time as I played Hogwarts Legacy. I explored every inch of the castle.
im not a real fan of harry potter, its super great to hear the fans got such a wonderful game. its really good to hear honestly.
I feel the same way! In hopes one day I’ll be greeted with one of my favorites movies turned into a phenomenal game
It literally made me, a dilettante fan of HP at best, a super fan.
Give it a go, it may surprise you and change your whole perspective.
any real gamer of harry potter fan know this game is not even close to being a complete game
This is the most book accurate depiction of Hogwarts I've ever seen. Everything from the kitchens to the common rooms even to little things that only appear once or twice in the books like the One-Eyed Witch passageway or the sliding stairs to the girls dormitories. The developers really paid attention to every description of the castle in the books and did a great job blending it with what we see in the movies.
And we finally saw peeves in all his glory)
Isn't this what we have been waiting for so long? This game is such a nerd dream come true that I unironically love the fact that it finally was made.
Yea I even remember reading about that witch in the painting, she enjoyed being burned at the stake so much because the charm she used made the flames tickle that she was burned like 13 times.
Except according to some, they might have gone a bit too much with all the stairs in the castle, that and having the main character say something every single time they do an action like fast traveling or when they head to town as a couple of examples.
@@cursedhawkins1305 nitpicking if you ask me. Also what problems with stairs they work just fine, not to mention you have fast travel and broom

If you do what you love you'll never work a day in your life. That's not exactly 100% accurate, but there is a lot of truth to it.
I really appreciate this comment and I agree. It’s a shame what’s been happening to joe lately.

A major current gen game pushing for ambitious scope, content, and concepts, published by goddamn WB, and it actually delivers AND is not broken on launch? This game is truly an anomaly.
I played through the game and one thing I'd say is it gets boring fast. The spells are good, but there's not that many. There's not many enemy variety. Once you've seen the whole castle, it's a chore trying to run a mile to get to a location. Side quest or just go here kill the same enemy collective thing come back.
yeah it sadly still feels like a good movie set, not an immersive thing you can play around with
a problem a ton of games have today
Joe torturing OJ and then OJ getting revenge as well as him saying "Hufflepuff my nuts!" made this feel like an instant classic angry review lol!😂
Oh that’s what he said lol. I thought he said a censored version of the n-word 😂
@DelShock nope. I caught that immediately and it instantly became one of my favorite OJ moments.
I'm so angry with this game because Ravenclaw's so underwhelming compared to the other houses.
Especially for the lamest house-related main quest and no relationship quest with Amit Thakkar whatsoever.
What a great crime committed by the game developers. Ravenclaw's already underrated in both movies and books, don't make it worse in the most anticipated game.
@@atrudokht gotta keep it consistent
Sequel Wishlist:
- Quidditch
- House point system
- More mission variety
- House point system
- Most house specific quests
- Better facial animations and voice acting
- Morality system/NPC interaction to spells
- More consequences for using Unforgivable Curses
I love how you said house point system twice. I don't know if it was by accident or not, but I feel like that's such a key part of Hogwarts that it deserves the attention and really should be part of a DLC/update/sequel.
TBH a sequel would not be as much as a success since we basically explored all of hogwarts and its outer regions, how they can still wow us with a sequel with basically the same exact map would be kind of redundant.. I'm still hoping they retract their statements and actually give us expansions of progressing through the last 2 years of schooling.
@@tylerdel3339that’s just it the second game will probably cover those final two years or break up the years and have three games of it. Just like how the first game was set in the 1800s maybe the second game is a little farther into the future, and so forth leading up to Dumbledore becoming headmaster.
Can we include romance?
@@nickfury5536 Seriously though! Poppy Sweeting and my character had some real chemistry from the voice actors and dialog.
As you said it's a great foundation. I do wish they'd go for a more sim like game in the sequel. Go Bully with it. Have schedules and way more classes, better npcs for interaction, the house you picked should make a bigger difference, make the common rooms useful, morality system.
I find it a bit funny that there are unforgivable curses in the HP world, but then you can freeze enemies and then shatter them up in small pieces and for some reason that is all fine and dandy. The kill curse is small beans compared to that lol.
Aye, somehow lighting people on fire, freezing them solid, and then tossing them into the air, only to smash them face first into the ground, shattering them is considered fair-play self-defense. 😆😂🤣
But kill them instantly? NOOOOO, that’s unforgivable forbidden magic.
I must have cast revelio 2000 times but I explored every single inch of that game, it looked amazing and boy, talk about wish fulfilment. I wanted more lessons, I really did, I would happily sit through a whole real life year's magical school education.

Careful, Hermione was practicallythe schools bookworm and teacherspet, but even she felt a bit sleepy during binns class at times. But Agreed though I would need to brew some wideye potions for history of magic (the option to continue the conversation with Binns and qte of staying awake is a nice touch).
The skit where they list all the horrible things your character can do in Hogwarts Legacy is the funniest part of this whole experience. Voldemort who?? This fifth-year made him look tame!
He used the unforgivable curses. Every. Single. Day.

My boyfriend and I finished playing and let me tell you, it was AMAZING. Our biggest issues was the endings and the lack of accomplishment from platinum-ing the game. Also, the enemy variations, the lack of a friend in RavenClaw, and how repetitive the puzzles could be. It was a great game, but we need a better story in the future. Actually let me be an evil wizard, please!!
I honestly can't believe he gave this a 10/10
Narh me too. I mean its a decent game for sure. 7-8 maybe but not a perfect 10/10.
The game lacks a good social system where you can interact with many of the npcs instead of them just being background filler that disappears at night
@@phantomxero1x447 this game is known to basically have a fanbase that is ready to punish people for daring to have criticisms
Joe used to have much higher standards for a 10. If he gave out a 10 in the past it basically meant that the game was highly original and close to perfect. 10/10 means perfect so even really good games would only get a 9.
Obviously Joe is compromised like any mainstream game reviewer. It's an industry like any other. There are billions of dollars at stake and the publishers want to move units. If that means buying off reviewers so be it.

I had a different experience when it comes to the combat; the Targeting wouldnt target the person I wanted to or switch off the person I'm trying to target even with the target lock causing me to waste spells. Like if a blue shield stood too close to a yellow shield your character will switch to that enemy and your spell would bounce off. It was just frustrating to fight more than 2 enemies at a time because of it.
Cause it’s based off camera targeting and it’s very sensitive. It’s the main targeting it wants you to use. You could have just turned it off completely in settings which is completely different than target lock. It plays great. Not so great if you’re a clunky movement kinda person or one that panics often.
I liked how I could connect to my Pottermore account. It knew my house and wand, but allowed me to change it if I wanted to.
I hoped to be able to cast the Patronus from the quiz (mine is a Thestral), and even better, become an animagus, but I didn’t expect it, and the lack of it didn’t ruin my play through.

why u sound like a bot? is this 1 game u ever played or what?
Listening to Joe describe the combat makes me seriously question why the quick and painless death spell is somehow the one that’s forbidden.
Cause it has no purpose other than killing. Every other spell no matter how much more destructive or “painful” has other uses than just murdering someone
Because of its implications and complications.
A quick, painless and traceless death is a nightmare to deal with regarding law enforcement.
On the implication part, it is because it's got no other purposes than killing people, and one can never truly use an excuse of self-defense or similar, because there's plenty of options to incapacitare opponents and the Killing Curse REQUIRES killing intent, it does not work if that last part isn't there.
So basically, it is a perfect assassination tool that only works when somebody truly wants to kill whatever they use it on despite always having other tools at their disposal, ergo it is forbidden.
Well it’s really because you can’t defend against it. It’s basically cheating.
Because AK has no there purpose then to kill and more importantly it is was the ease that one can use it that makes it terrible and unforgivable.
I also don't believe they are 100% illegal to use. I think there's a Ministry of Magic job that is allowed, under strictly controlled circumstances, to use them. I might be wrong on that though.

Most of these references were most likely made by Rowling herself and I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out she was behind much of the artwork as well, the same way she had been for the original games. Of course they have to keep up the charade that she wasn't involved to placate the Twitter mob (which, as it turns out, is completely powerless when it comes to influencing consumers' choices, which is a good takeaway for the future), but I can assure you that she was, and intimately so. I'd knock off a Mark (from 10) just because of AvraKadavra though. What,, were,, they ,, thinking?? 😳🤯🤯💫😂
It's so great to see genuine joy and excitement coming from Joe while playing this
As another person who’s been a Harry Potter fan since I was a little kid back in the late 90’s or whenever, I never thought at this point we’d get a Harry Potter game like this. So many failed attempts over the decades and suddenly we get Hogwarts Legacy? It’s not often we get nostalgic treats like this.
@@HumanPerson_final Hogwarts Legacy kind of felt like a modern version of the Chamber of Secrets that EA made back in the day(at least the console version I also remember the PC port it was way more linear) could be remembering the free roam wrong but I remember flying the broom around Hogwarts and down to Hagrid's hut
Yeah, it gets him really geared up to call people racists and pedo's for not liking what they did to April in the new Ninja Turtles...
Literally, though.
He got paid off
really enjoyed the game as well, the only downside is that for months on end they teased the idea that you choose your path, that you could become evil etc. The reality is that it was focused on one path alone and doesn't really give you an option (other than being rude to other students) to go down a dark path.
the best thing is that they have confirmed they plan to do more, and i hope they take all the wishes to heart. as long as they implement things as they wanted, morale system, reactions. being able to start random duels in areas. ect.
this series can only go up from here. and i hope it fucking sky rockets.
I don't think I've seen joe this happy to review a game in a long time. the joy that joe expressed for all the different sides of this game, I will definitely be getting this game now! good review joe!
I don't even like Harry Potter, but seeing Joe this happy about ANY video game these days makes me want to play it. Are you paying attention, game developers? This is what video games are SUPPOSED to be.
It really is fantastic. If you're into Harry Potter at all, you can see that this is 1000% a labor of love, and a total love letter to the franchise. And if you just like open world games, with awesome combat, a solid story, and a metric fuckton of stuff filling the world, then it's good on those scores as well.
yea its a great game. I am a Ravenclaw myself. I am very much enjoying it, highly reccommend it.
Check out his Horizon: Forbidden West review. Like with this review, he can't stop gushing about. Seeing reviewers act like kids in a candy store is always great to see!
Same same. I was probably going to get it eventually but now, with Joe's endorsement, I'm for sure going to be picking it up much sooner.
Maybe if they make a sequel, it could have your character entering the Ministry of Magic, getting to explore the different facilities and history, and you could take jobs as an Auror or an investigator of enchanted objects and creatures. Maybe it could even let you Obliviate muggles during a mission.
That would be an amazing game. I pretty much thought of myself as a 21 jump street auror lol, with my dragonskin coat and duelist mask making me not look like a student at all.
They could put Quidditch in!
I think that would fall apart extremely quickly. The Harry Potter Universe only works well in the constrained setting of the school. Any time you explore the greater magical world and its like looking at swiss cheese. Nothing makes sense, and a ton of the magic and wonder is lost once you enter the "real world"
Sequel is alreadu confirmed
@@kylegardner6272 I would love a kindom hearts 3 type sequel. Where you play the background character of the harry potter books whos actions actually help the canon happen. Kibnda like Sora did in KH3.
My first playthrough was actually without the unforgivable curses. I found myself getting significantly better at the combat because I couldn’t crutch any spells.
It also made me REALLY excited for another playthrough as a “bad” character. Really enjoying the game. I have well over 70 hours on my first playthrough
Those little Goblins dancing to the rap song is the best thing that ever happened in video game history🤣
The transition from Harry taking the flume to the Sept exploding was absolutely incredible.
Hilarious and well done!
ok
ok
He said trans. Get him
I definitely wasn’t expecting the combat to be as fun & satisfying as it was.
The combat is definitely the highlight of the game, didnt even expect a harry potter gameplay could be that fun
you should play actual good games then
@@michaelwesten4624 well how pray tell would we know what's good before we buy it? You kinda need to know what you like in the first place. And this game was good so...
Combat gets boring fast though.
@@michaelwesten4624 yeah, he totally shouldn't be having fun playing a game
It is pretty amazing that we can have a bag that will store a dozen large creatures but we can only carry a handful of gloves and can't even put them in a trunk or something!
I wanna see a review without the nostalgia glasses now.
This game is a visual love letter to the Harry Potter universe. Hogwarts Castle is full of details (even some super obscure that are mentioned maybe once or twice in the Books). The Devs clearly care about Hogwarts and the World. Its sad the game got cought in the JK Rowling controversy crossfire but man.. they did an amazing Job with the game and i hope they continue to make good games for this Universe :D
Rowling is the worst part of the franchise.
I honestly don't understand the whole boycott thing, boycotting Hogwart's legacy is not gonna hurt Rowling, at all. The only ones it'd hurt would be the studio that made the game, and the people working there.
@@ErikWarhammer Kinda odd to say that when she is the one who has created the whole world 😂 And people are overblowing her statements. She has her right to have an opinion like anyone else.
@@KingOfBlades27 Sure, she can have her opinions, but it's still a shitty opinion to have... which, in my humble opinion, makes her kind of a shit person.
That said, I chose not to boycott the game because she wasn't directly involved in its creation in any way. I'm happy to see the passionate and talented team responsible for creating this wonderful game getting the accolades they deserve and the sales to go along with it.
@@ErikWarhammer Frankly, she isn't. Her views are fairly tame. If you think her separating "women who menstruate from women who don't" is extreme, you've never been bullied, have you? Or at least never faced an ACTUAL racist or sexist person. Because they? They wouldn't refer to someone as "a woman who doesn't mensturate", they'd refer to them as an "it". "If it ain't a he or a she, then it's an 'it', like a thing or a dog, hurr durr durr".
If they're going to do a sequel to this one (which i believe they are doing it 'cause this game was a hit in sales), i kinda want a more Bully approach to the classes and side activities, wich can integrate the points system so that by the end of the game we can see how gryffindor always win because plot.
Some exciting news for ya bud.
They are remaking the game "Bully" 😏
Gryffindor won because the supposedly heroic 5th Year Hufflepuff started using Crucio on people in the hallways for his own amusement.
JKR was involved they had to get her approval and wanted her to love it so it could be cannon in the harry potter world
This is the reason the game shouldn't be rated 10/10... It simply feels like it's iterating on the Ubisoft formula instead of taking advantage of the school environment it has...
Agreed, the first half of the game could be as a first year maybe this years characters sibling. Or just make it that in his 6th year he decides to follow the rules for the first half of the game
Damn I’m kinda salty this got a 10 but not Red Dead Redemption 2, I guess I’ll check it out.
Is it just me or does it feel like we’re missing something here? Besides the school and landscapes I never thought the story or voice acting was good, I never finished it and neither did any of my friends who played it
Joe's neighbors every time he films a scene outside the house: hey, the neighbors are being weird again.
I live in Austin TX. Trust me. It’s not that weird. Our city motto is “Keep Austin Weird”
bet there's neighbor's with slipping slides and mini carnivals N shett. If you just go outside with a beer can where I live the whole village knows
quality stands on its own, so glad a game didnt fail to deliver
The only problem with this game is there’s way too much diversity
Hogwarts Legacy 2 you start the game fighting the Villain of the game. He beats you and uses Obliviate on you and you wake up in St Mungos. Then you spend the first half of the game remembering everything you forgot with Flashbacks. Include in some new spells, potions and creatures along with making the introduction for each quest house specific.
The house distribution for Alex and OJ was just perfect! I can easily see Alex being the snooty know it all Ravenclaw and OJ being the happy go lucky Hufflepuff! Perfect skits as ever!
For me the most incredible thing in this game is the castle. It was made on a 1:1 scale of a real castle if there ever were a Hogwarts in real life.
I cannot even fathom the amount of work it took to make Hogwarts so humongous and so detailed.
Exactly and not only that but the world outside the castle is massive as well. Loving this game so much. Haven’t had this much fun since rdr2.
as someone who's not a Harry Potter fan in any shape or form the atmosphere and set design is so good, it just has that cozy and beautiful European architecture to how everything looks, how buildings and decor looks is amazing, the music is also pretty good.
It's a living breathing Hogwarts is what it is.
Looks like they're after getting paid handsomely for their work too. Massive seller.
1:1? So it's even bigger than the one in HP5?
“Your bigger than my bad” “that’s to bad for your mom” that skit got me😂
bigger than my BAD???
@@Azuria969😂
*dad
I got you dude.
It felt limited..like they held back. Idk how to explain it but i felt like it didnt reach its full potential.
Boring side quests, boring characters, mid story, empty open world, copy and paste caves/dungeons with underwhelming loot. Yeah it was a pretty bad game. There’s actual real open world rpg games out there that do it much better. I think Joe got paid to do a good review
From the opening cutscene, when the thestrals appeared, I knew this was made by people who actually genuinely like harry potter and want to make the game amazing
For sure, but it wasnt just that, it was like oh shit, they really just killed that dude in the first 30 seconds 🤣🤣
The effort they put into authenticating the whole experience alone is exemplary.
I think for me it would be this year's apex example of silent storytelling. That particular moment is on par with Arcane's Ekko-Powder fight.
@@scottmcqueen3964 We've got unfinished business with that dragon. The DLC kind of unfinished business.
I've never been a potter fan but this game makes me jealous. I want a Gandalf game like this. And the increased focus on character animations, clothing and graphics is phenomenal.
You mean you want a game with some passion? You don't want to just pay $70 to flick controller stick and mash buttons mindlessly? We should all buy and support games like these so shareholders start seeing the value in a good product
@@dixen9116 Yes, indeed. I barely know the 2nd thing about Harry Potter but I love a good Modern arcade action game and this is a _very_ Special entry. Lots of depth too, more than I have the time for at least!
With games like these: Fun Wins. 💫
This is the first time I heavily disagree with Joe. While I do agree they put a lot of work into the game (aesthetic wise) the combat, side quests, enemies, rpg elements were very underwhelming I forced myself to put in 25 hours into this game and I just couldn’t bare it anymore. Idk how a mediocre game like this got a 10/10 from Joe. He must be a huge Harry Potter fan or something but yeah there’s way better open world rpg games you could enjoy more
Seriously 10/10 I platinumed the game in less then a week I found it shallow full of padding and other then the initial main quest and that one quest it was mostly basic go here kill stuff .the main path quests are ok but nothing to write home about. However the detail given to hogsmeede and hogwarts is impressive shame the rest of the game doesn't match it 7/10 from me forspoken is an 7/10 also and jedi survivor is a 6/10
Two 10/10 titles this year and we just got started? This is looking to be an awesome year for gaming!
what was the other one they gave a 10/10

@@judgedread9724 Well the Third one was eh but easily the weakest remake they did tbh
Okay but Alex’s skit on getting sorted, fuckin 10/10
Jo Joe!
For one I agree that it's the best Harry Potter game so far but dude come on...
10/10?
Have you actually seen how empty the world besides Hogwarts itself is?
Every cave is one of 4 or 5 versions and it's repeating so fast.
The loot system is boring and the lvl 40 loot makes no sense because to get there you will have done and seen almost everyting in the game due to the weird leveling system.
It basically became pretty boring pretty quick and besides a few more clothes/accecoires there's little to it because potions and crystals can be harvested at home with ease after a few hours.
Further I also disagree with the "Excellent" combat system.
Maybe it was because I played on hard, but the enemys were bullet sponges to a certain degree which is rarely fun.
I mean, it was fun to juggle and combo! But it got old pretty quick and was easy to cheese, the curse link and Avada Kedabra chain reaction is pretty awesome tho.
But one of the worst things in my opinion is that the complete arc around Naty is lame, makes little sense and the ending is complete BS.
Like, why no disarm the bad guy? Why leave him out of the eye for a moment? Why is he casting Crucio instead of Expel. or Avada? Why is Nathy jumping in front of you to take the bullet instead of shoving you with magic, shielding you or who know what else could've been viable?!
Voice acting in my language was pretty good tho.
If you compare this to Witcher 3 which took roughly similar development time, it's pretty disappointing for 2023...
Oh one more thought:
Regarding how "much love" has been poured into this.
Have you seen that the wands always move in a simple circle whilst learning a new spell?
How awesome would've been if the wand would move, at least, nearly to the motion shown with the button press event?
Of course it's a minor thing and changes nothing in the gameplay but it shows that not as much care went into this...
I felt the good vibes in this video. I hope they'll expand the game in future expansions...so good to see these guys still having fun and doing what they love!
"It's a 10/10"
I felt a great disturbance in gaming, as if millions of twitter freaks suddenly cried out in anger, and are suddenly harassing anyone who likes the game
not true really. The game is great and a lot of fun but not a 10/10. Maybe an 8 or 9.
@@borris3768 it doesn’t change the fact that a group of sad weirdos are melting down over a game about wizards 😂
@@khaki_man he didn't cried out in anger and harass people... the game is really simplistic, if you're into deep RPGs it's far from a 10/10. to each its own.
Angering Twitter freaks is the only good thing that came from HL, in fact this game is no better than average Ubisoft open world
quiet nazi troll, sorry but Joe really let his nostalgia cloud his judgement here, Yahtzee's review is far more accurate, he said it started out good but once it got to the open-world stuff the facade was revealed and it turned out to be another jiminiy-cockthroat game with the same bland copy-pasted open-worlds fighting the same 2 enemies the whole time with a lame nonsensical plot.
I don't even care about the controversy but the game truly looks like shit, Joe really lost credibility with this review IMO.
10/10? You wouldn’t know what a good game was if it hit you on the nose
Cry more.
Hype/10, this game is a 7 if we're HP fans and very generous. I was shocked to see 10/10 after playing the game myself.
They didn’t do the sports cus ea still owns the quidditch so ea ruins things again.
This has been my favorite Angry Joe vid in a long ass time going back to Joe actually talking with us with funny ass cuts with everyone, old school I loved it!
I had to take my wife's picture when she first got on her broom and flew around Hogwarts. Biggest smile I've seen in months!
Not sure if that’s a good thing bro… lol
Same I wasnt even into harry potter but this game has so much soul to it. Has me on the 4th movie already.
When I saw the animated portaits, thats when I knew they took their time with this one. This game should be celebrated. Its not often we get something like this. They gave it their all with this one and it shows. Thank You.
I’ve always wondered how these guys are big fans of SO many different types of games.. like this is one of like a million genres that AJ seems to be super into
I'm not a HP fan but this game really looks great with its amazing details. Imagine if an open world Middle Earth RPG made like this much detail and love for the lore.
Well there is the The Lord of the Rings Online MMO but it is from 2007. For now that's as close as we can get until they decide to make another open world Middle Earth
And this game was the long lost sequel of bully 2 despite its the PG version
Going by Hogwarts Legacys timeline, it will take almost a decade of love, care & attention to detail. Generally, sheer effort.

I still haven't read any of the books or seen any of the movies. Harry Potter was one of those series (along with Lord of the Rings and Star Wars) that I just wasn't into when I was younger. Which is odd, since now I love space and magic; and I've always liked magic abilities in RPGs. I want to finally get into HP and wonder if I can also track down the older games like The Chamber of Secrets and the Lego games.
