For the people that are experiencing crashes with car tuner: It does duplicate the file. Check in your cars folder and it will be there, files and all. For some reason it freezes every time you click on duplicate, and I don't have a fix for that, but I do know that it does duplicate the file regardless.

You could actually edit the engine power or other parts of the physics to actually replicate the real world performance too! That would take a bit more than an hour though
Assetto corsa car tuner is such a good program. I use it to edit cars tire grip and aero sometimes. Cloned and modified a fxx k evo with more grip and aero. Now it runs a 3:24 lap time on the outter c1 loop. Sure it prob could go faster with a proper wheel setup and a better driver then I am. Still fun though to mess with as a program and see what or how far parts of the game can be pushed.
Yeah. The price point is really low and I love they made at least one version for free, because I wouldn't buy it otherwise, because I wouldn't know if and how well would it work for me. That way I could get accustomed to the process and not hesitate.
I would rather get some older f1 cars and tracks instead of getting more modern f1 cars because I already have them on F1 2020 and plus i prefer old f1 but still pretty neat mod!

drag and drop the sfx into assetto corsa install directory? then why are you dropping it into the rss_formula_hybrid_2018 folder? oh that's right it's because that is actually where it needs to go.....great explanation.
@@SimRacing604 I took the mod audio from F1 Megapack, and put the audio I wanted into the respective cars SFX folder. I deleted the stock audio and I got the crash message. I also tried deleting the modded audio and adding back in the Formula Hybrid stock audio and I got the same message. I really don't know what to do.

If I delete the existing audio, and use the 2018 sounds, it wont work, and my game crashes, saying "Your car sounds might be broken", or what I do is name the bank: "rss_formula_hybrid_2018_Ferrari_SF21.bank" (I called the car the Ferrari SF21), and I can play, but there is no sound. I am really stuck here and some help would be greatly appreciated.

This is going to be a really long comment, so i apologize in advance. I was having the same problem when i did this. I think car tuner gets confused with mod car or something, because i have the same problem with VRC and URD cars. Anyway, mine would crash too, but i eventually got it to work using the steps listed below. Haven’t had a problem since. Hopefully this works for other people as well. 1. Open car tuner 2. Pick your car (In this case formula hybrid 2018) 3. Enter a name for your tune (I just named them based on engine supplier, so Honda, Mercedes, Renault, Ferrari) 4. Click create new tune 5. Wait and don’t click anything. Sometimes it took a minute and it looked like the program froze, but just let it go. An error message should eventually pop up. 6. Once the error message pops up, close car tuner. Don’t try entering any more info or clicking on anything, just close it. 7. Open content manager. The new tune should show up and it should work. Mine has always worked once it gets to this point. If it doesn’t you could check the cars folder to see if the tune car is missing any files. 8. To get the sounds on your new car, first apply the new sound to the original car using whatever method you normally use to get mods. Then use content manager to replace the sound on the tuned car with the sound of the original. (For example, if i have my cars labeled as Ferrari, Mercedes, Renault, and Honda, (engine suppliers) and i want to add the Mercedes sound to my Mercedes tune, i would take the Mercedes sound from ACFAN/SHR Modding, add it to the sfx folder for the original car and replace files. Then, in content manager, on the Mercedes tune, click replace sound, and choose the original car as your donor for the new sound. Then just repeat this for the other engine suppliers.)

Hey mate an absolute fantastic video did them all but i dont have any sounds on ferrari,honda,mercedes,renault engines . I can only hear default rss formula hybrid 2018 sounds from the original car idk why . Can you help me out because i am new to this game. While the car mod is still available for free at RSS, the sound mod is no longer available on Overtake (formerly Race Department). Perhaps you should take your video down or update it.
Whenever I download AC Mods. They don’t download as a folder. Just 1 .RAR file. But when I put them In cars. They don’t work. On yours it looks like yours came In a file
All good man!! Click the gear icon above the opponents list when you set up a race. A pop up will open and allow you to choose your opponents’ skin, as well as adding ballast or restrictor to each car
How do I make the cars better than the other team's cars? Also, to anyone who gets a crashing error in the car tuner, just click continue and it'll be created.

@@SimRacing604 No problem. It simply rollback from loading screen to the previous menu. Starting the game only 95% of the cars are loaded. Gotta reinstall the game and will let you know something latter. Thks!

Even the stock audio? Or just the mod? It sounds like it’s a naming issue within the file structure. You may have copied the wrong files over

It's the same. It depends on your software for de.comppress
What i do is use sites like cloudconvert and convertio and convert it to zip so you dont need to install unzippers on your pc.

It must have been downloaded to a different file location. Double check the default file location in your browser
